If we're drafting top 5 that means one of 5 stud QBs is going to be available, all of which are 6-4 or taller.
If we take a 6-0 guy when anyone of those top 5 guys are still on the board I'll self immolate. I won't shy away from a school because of crap in the past (USC) but I'm not drafting a shrimp. _ Am I reading this right? You're prejudice against short guys? QBs? 100% _ _

Am I reading this right? You're prejudice against short guys? QBs? 100% _ _ PSU lists McSorely at 6 feet. Some "publications" have him at 6'1". I've been close enough to him to get a good idea of his height. I am 5 foot 11.75 inches tall. That guy has got to be about 2 inches shorter than me.

It's counter-intuitive of me to think positive, but... IF you were a big Rosen fan -- then Sam Darnold is the best thing that could have happen to the Jets.
We're not getting pick #1. We'll never be that lucky.
If the consulation prize is the best pure passing prospect since Manning/Luck, then I'll buy that for a fucking dollar.

The Allen hype train this summer seems to running hot. Like, too hot. It's mostly DJ but it's having a trickle effect in the media.

I think we're all on the same page here; baring Jesus himself stepping into Hackenberg's body, we're going to shooting for the stars next April. May this be a place to discuss, argue and belittle our fellow hampurites as the College season rolls along and names come into focus. The obvious suspects:Sam Darnold Josh Rosen Josh Allen Luke Falk Lamar Jackson Mason Rudolf Names to keep an eye on:Riley Ferguson (Memphis) Baker Mayfield (okl) Trace McSorley (penn st) Should be fun to chime in weekly on who's looking the part, who's sliding and who's rising. Are you saying Jesus Christ cant hit a curveball?

Watched a bit of him tonight and I can see the positives and negatives. Looks cerebral and has a nice quick release, nice arm strength, good ball placement. What I came away lacking was his reads. He was almost a one and done on every play and that is concerning. Also watched some Falk tonight and I'm on the train...choo....choo. His negative is he plays in a Mike Leach Air Raid yet he goes through progressions like the best of them. His accuracy would be killer in the short passing game(ala Brady) and he throws a nice accurate deep ball. He's NFL ready right now and would be a complete fit for the offense we are trying too run. Wonder how much muscle he can put on before the draft. Love him as a prospect.

Hahahahaaaaa. _

If you watch Rosen's second year tape, you see him move through his progressions a little bit more and drop back from under center. They changed coordinators to a more pro style offense.

After reading Darnold profile in SI, I think there is a less than 50% chance he enters the draft. He's a different kind of cat.
