There are times when I feel like I am singlehandedly trying to keep the site focused on Jet Football. Without the training camp updates this site would have been deader than dead. I just can't come around to JN. You have people giving Hack an A grade, Jetnut running rabid(one of the guys that made JI unbearable), and some guy posted every throw from Mike Glennon. Lets go take over the Draft forum when the time comes.... And yes, there are personalities there, but if you can swat through the flies - there is indeed a handful of pretty cool people too. Just like yourself however, they're not usually the loudest and most heavy handed. So you gotta hang around a bit to spot each other at the other end of the bar.

This is place to discuss prospects, bar none. Nice group of balanced respectful individuals who can discuss without childish antics. The rest of the board has deteriorated into lord of the flies there's been a ton of preseason storylines yet it's all mothballs here. Sadly, I am beginning to agree with you. I started venturing to JN in the last week because there is so little football talk here. I am struggling adjusting to the volume of activity and the number of blind homers over there. Still hoping this place will come back to life when the season starts, but I am not so sure. Like you, I will stick around here until the end. There are times when I feel like I am singlehandedly trying to keep the site focused on Jet Football. You were the only football anchor here this summer... It is blinding walking into JN and being reminded what it looks like when 200 people are online at once arguing... but shit man... i'll take it. I click on new posts here and it's 80% political and 18% pic threads... and 2% football. I find i'm having to pace myself over at JN with all the posts i disagree with. I get teased into being the old me, "Are you insane? Blah blah"... but i'm finding my resting state again and noticing the good folk as well.

I love this draft sub forum, but I took a sabbatical during the summer because .... there wasn't any football to discuss The Yankees exceeding expectations also drew a lot of my attention. I'll still be posting here and on the main site. I also post on JN occasionally. I know some of you planned a Tampa road trip that I could not make, but if everyone wants to get together at an area bar for one of the first 2 games, I'm in.

So do we get some college QB reviews this weekend. I look forward for that I think most are going to be watching the FSU-Bama game. It's not very often you have the #1 versus the #3 in the country to open the season.

I've got my pick of the litter with this box.. definitely going to be watching all the QBs play over the usual SEC clashes.

I'm more interested in watching and enjoying the best games in the country and then breaking down the prospects when the season ends.

The more I watch Allen, the more I think there's no middle ground there.
He's either the next Big Ben or the next Blake Bortles.

I know this usually would go in the draft forum, but this year the most important Jet stuff may be happening on Saturday...
For folks interested, Josh Allen is playing in Wyoming v Iowa right now on BTN. Darnold plays this afternoon but not televised on east coast (pac 12 network has it) Rosen plays tmrw night on Fox.

Just turned on Wyoming saw Allen get chased out if the pocket, threw off his back foot and sent a laser beam between 2 defenders for a nice first down pickup on 3rd down.

Allen reminds me of Hack but much more accurate, mobile, athletic, quicker release, able to go through progressions, eyes always down field, in command of the offense.
But otherwise just like Hack.
