Just saw an apology video on Facebook. It claims its a comic and it didn't mean to offend, etc. I really hope the Secret Service follows up and at least scares the shit out of it. At max, it could be looking at 5 years.

I think most people gave her plenty of room to vent. She was (and I noticed, still is) editing people's posts here. There were posts that were out of line on both sides. I hope she got some clarity that all this politics bs is just that, bs. The conservatives here got up every day and went to work for 8 years while being insulted and attacked constantly and we survived. |

I had the same hopes. But it has, maybe its inevitable. I think you are one of the few in wanting other POVs, (or even reading/considering them). When the typical response is "You lost get over it", or 24 memes, the place dries up quick. It's boring. Its why a guy like Warfist who used to post some great stuff doesn't even visit. I disagreed with 80% of his stuff but it made me think and at least see the other side But Forums are a democracy, they become want the majority wants them to be. Nothing wrong with that but as you say, echo chamber. This is not a Political Forum in its current make up. |
