Back in 2014 I started a thread titled "Josh Rosen in 2018" after the Nike Elite 11 QB competition. That may or may not come true. Rosen has pretty much lived up to the lofty expectations of him from high school.
The next elite prospect IMO could be Trevor Lawrence. It's not because he is a Clemson commit but, looks the part of a elite NFL QB prospect. He isn't in the mold of the last two Clemson QBs (Boyd and Watson), he is a tradition 6'5" pocket passer with great mobility. I can't wait to see him hit campus in 2018, should be day one starter as Clemson will be in a transition this year at the QB position.
This kid can flat out throw it though, very unique combination of size and mobility. Will be interesting to see how Clemson tweaks their offense around this kids skill set.
Anyway, if the Jets are still searching for a QB come 2021, Lawrence is my guy.
