Very tough news yesterday regarding his health. He has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. His long term prognosis is grim, with an average life span of 14 months and a 5 year survival rate of 10%.
From a political standpoint, I have not agreed with him too often. However, I have always respected him for the class and dignity that he brought to the Senate, and his run for the Presidency.
Of all of the asinine things said by the slapped ass current occupant of the White House, his unhinged attack on McCain last year may be the worst. McCain is an American hero. Something that the draft dodger was unwilling to comprehend.
I wish McCain well on the remainder of his journey. And I thank him for all of his service for our country.

Not a McCain fan by any measure but yes I wish him and his family well based on his service to the country. Glad you were even handed in your taking shots at other politicians such as calling out Trump for being "slapped ass" whatever the hell that means and pointing out that Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy were draft dodgers.

Sad to hear. Im not a fan of McCains particularly but its grim news. Interestingly, his questioning a few weeks back was seemingly incoherent at times and armchair Drs were wondering if he had a stroke or a brain tumor.

Wish him well. Hopefully the treatment affords him some quality of life and he enjoys his time with his family and friends.
From a politics standpoint I hope he steps down and lets the Governor choose a replacement. He is a war mongerer and has done nothing but resist Trump, even helped peddle the dossier. Good riddance.
The race for his seat is going to make the Georgia 6th District seat look like kindergarten bake sale.

You expect me to be even handed in my commentary? Much like you are? Please. And for your benefit, courtesy of the Urban Dictionary: Slapped Ass A not so good feeling, usually physical, and usually used when not feeling well, or hungover. Also can be used to describe the way a person, or yourself, physically appears. I feel like a slapped ass today. You look like a slapped ass! What's wrong?

Wish him luck...but like DDNY said...step the hell down. It's been clear for months that he has something clearly wrong with his noggin.
That silly bitch Pelosi should do the same.
Crazy to think that we have a man with a serious brain disease being actively encouraged to rejoin the senate.
Send him his best wishes and tell him to stand the fuck down.

She has been showing signs too. Hell the dems ran Hillary who needed 5 people to catch her and carry her to a van and couldn't walk down a flight of stairs.

How about trump? He's showing signs of delusion, paranoia & dementia.
Best wishes to McCain. Has always been a class act and a national hero.
