Why not, the Jets are going to fucking suck this year anyway:
1) Josh Rosen (QB) UCLA - Someone manages to suck more than the Jets so we lose out on Darnold. Rosen has a lot of Matt Ryan to his game.
2) Martinas Rankin (OT) Miss. State - Jets finally double up on offense in the first 2 rounds for the 1st time since Santana Moss and Lamont Jordan (any wonder we suck?)
3) Dorance Armstrong (edge rusher) Kansas - Jets go edge rusher in the 3rd for the third year in a row, but they actually pick an athletic guy this time.

Nice
Was going to do a mock that was pretty similar.
Had the Jets taking Darnold #1 and then getting back into the late 1st and grabbing an OT like Trey Adams.
My big FA signings were Allen Robinson, Trumaine Johnson and Travis Swanson.

Walterfootball's mock draft presently has the Jets landing Darnold at #1, and St. Brown at #33.... so obviously I came... then when I cleaned up, i remembered it's august and there's no fucking way we'll ever be that team.
Also, they had Josh Allen going #4 i think, 2nd QB off the board... man, am I the only one left with a brain and set of eyes? Allen is not going in the top 10, and if he is, it's going to be the NY JETS cause we're the only ones stupid enough to fall for that one.

The lone game I watched him play last year was in inclement weather and he failed too impress.

He's like, 80% of what it takes... but he's not consistent, and feels like luck plays a factor in there. Joe Flacco? Jeff George?

Those guys were much more accurate.....but again I'm going off of a small sample size.

If you took all the top guys and evaluated where they are today, Allen is the worst one. He also has the highest upside. His development this year is going to be intriguing. He could wind up the #1 overall pick or fall out of the first round altogether.

Allen has godly arm talent, but that's... about it? I have seen enough development from the rest of his game. He could easily tumble to round 3 with another inconsistent year. I'm going to boldly predict that we'll break the record next april with 7 QBs in round 1 NYJ - Sam Darnold SF/WSH - Josh Rosen CLE - Luke Falk JAX - Lamar Jackson PIT - Riley Ferguson BAL - Mason Rudolph ARZ - Josh Allen

Never heard of him. Wasn't Peterman their QB last year?

Never heard of him. Wasn't Peterman their QB last year? PIT is the steelers of course, I think the answer you're looking for is Memphis.. (fun fact, they did compete against each other with the Vols before each transferring)

For starters, Allen is a lot bigger than Jackson and Rosen (who are both pretty slender). Allen is also very athletic and runs well (not as well as Jackson, but he is much bigger).

I understand, but I'm gonna lean on the "upside" word here. The upside of Allen isn't that he's going to be a respected dual threat. The upside on his end is the non-statue model of Joe Flacco in my opinion. He's quick like Aaron Rodgers, but he's no Newton or Mariota. Lamar Jackson is a legit (elite even) dual threat who could.. (upside) develop into a better Mike Vick. Until his pocket/passing ability is better appreciated, i don't think i'm going to get a lot support for my assessment of Lamar. The upside of Rosen is Peyton Manning. I feel fine saying that. (so anyway, that's where i'm coming from when i make those remarks)

State could easily go in the second round, maybe late 1 depending on who declares.

Another name is Jarrett Stidham who transferred to Auburn and is their starter this year.
