Watched one tape of Adams and I came away with lots of good and some bad. I need too watch some more tape before coming to an early opinion. What's your thoughts on him maury77 ? I'm going to watch Adams this weekend, but, FWIW, Pauline was tweeting last night that Adams was struggling. So what do you think? I always watch the tape without any opinion going in, so I could care less what Tony thinks although I respect him. All I look for is honest opinions from what you watch. I know I'm late on my evals but it was Labor day weekend. So my quick eval on Adams after only that one tape: Nice frame, good nastiness, and this guy can play LT in this league. Excellent at the second level and he's an athlete. My big negative was the lateral ability and him whiffing when players crossed his face. It's one of the huge negatives I had on Brandon Shell as well. It's also why the mirror drill is so important at the combine. Overall I think it can be fixed because the feet are there. I'll watch some more in depth once the season is over. I'll get back to you on McGlinchey.

He didn't face a lot of bull rushes on the tape I saw, but I did see some possible play strength issues. I wouldn't be excited about picking him in the middle of round 1, but he would be a nice get at the top of round 2.

My notes on McGlinchey: Good length needs to get a little bit stronger fairly athletic, gets a nice drop in his set pretty good getting to the second level will lunge at times does a good job of getting low when he has to and getting under the defenders pads Does a good job of handling the edge rushers around the arc I finally watched that clip and my assessment is pretty spot on with yours. Now I'll list my pros which somewhat overlap: Great frame and length with the ability too add pure muscle. Finesse player but the run blocker is in there. Smart player, easily able too check off assignments when blocking. Good at the second level. One of the best prospects I've seen in years when it comes to hand placement and initial punch. Understands how to turn his man when run blocking. Now my negatives: Good but not great feet. Obviously needs to get stronger.....but I could give a rats ass about this critique. He lunges at times....but they all do. I'm not sure if he has that nasty streak. Overall after one tape....I love him. He's a prototypical LT in this league and is only going to get better. I purposely didn't watch him last year because I knew he wasn't declaring. He's definitely one that bears watching because I'm thinking a top 10 pick unless there is a run on QB's.

It would be nice if someone else chimes in on Williams or any of the other prospects we broke down. With that said......he's next up.

Instead of regional scouts we should break the mold and go with positional scouts.

Any positions you are interested in? It's a good RB class.

Sorry, but I am not the guy to evaluate OL. My opinions in this area are close to worthless. Besides, this is the time of year to sit back, relax, enjoy the games and see which individual performances kind of jump of the screen at me. Plenty of time to watch game tape of individual guys after the season.

Conor Williams
I didn't love his tape
Look just OK on the hoof and I have questions about his length
He has an odd tendency to move forward then start mirroring to the left
Has a little nastiness to his game
Has good feet and balance
In the run game he really fires out to the second level, but he reaches and whiffs often
In the pass game, he has a good anchor and can keep up with the outside rush
I wonder if he moves inside to guard when he gets to the NFL.
