Another good call was when a guy called in and stated that years ago he killed his father because he abused him as a child. Mike buys right in and goes with it. The gold? There's a chain-saw revving in the background the whole call and Mike doesnt catch it. |

The documentary was very good, I thought. Anyone else see it? Just caught it last eve. Not bad. Dont know how much I buy the sexual abuse angle thing, seemed self-serving. He always struck me as a Howard Stern wannabe. I do remember when he took Boomers money to play blackjack with and ironically, at the time I thought "wish I had ten grand to give him too". He was an excellent gambler but those types always end up outsmarting themselves. Dont know how they fit him back in at WFAN, the whole station now prostrates themselves to their gambling sponsors, all the hosts spend a sh*t ton of times promoting/discussing it. Anything is better than Moose N Maggie tho. Dont understand how she alone survives the line-up shake ups and Moose is dry as shit. |

Some other radio show, and I bet not in New York. And my god you are right - Maggie is unlistenable. Not even sure what words to use to describe. Moose is at least OK. overall, though, I thought the documentary was pretty good. Was a good reminder, to me, that when you have it all (or at least enough), don’t do stupid shit to fuck it up. |

He had a local radio show on in NY - big deal. Gio I like cause he seems like a good dude. The morning show is better without Carton. It looks like they are gonna pair Carton with Evan Roberts and Beningo is going to retire. Noooo! Although he’s still going to do some stuff down here from FLA - hopefully will have a regular gig after Jets losses and wins (whenever those happen again). Should still be good. |
