Id bet the same... Its a not uncommon story. Guy's hooked on betting, loses a few times in a row and he's in the hole, then figures he can bet bigger and catch up, and just gets buried deeper and deeper. Chasing it. There was an episode of the Sopranos years ago where this happened to Tony, but he was in the hole for 600K, not 5 million. Also, Tony was a mob boss on TV, not a little weasel like Carton. The best was when they covered the guy that owned the sporting goods store. Remember Tony took the guys sons car and gave it to Meadow. That was such a good show. The moral of that story is don't take boxes of Ziti from a guy named Tony. |

First half of this Boomer sounds genuinely upset. I have no idea why Boomer would want to even do this show at all - getting up at 3 or 4 am EVERY GOD DAMN day. He has his football money, his Inside the NFL gig, his CBS morning show, he does MNF radio. Enough dude. You don't need to wake up that early everyday you hockey loving, Phil Simms twin! I'm thinking perhaps his wife isnt the adoring, blushing bride she once was and perhaps is the angry, impatient, glaring malcontent the rest of us are married to. Prolly work another job too iffin he could fit it in. |
