just read ole Harvey let a nut loose on a potted plant. I bet there will be a hardy mum incident also.   So blame the cops because the DA's office wasnt briefed on the taping? The cops didnt take money after Weinstein was left off the hook, Vance did. Involving the Manhattan D.A. from the onset would have done nothing but ensure that that tape wouldnt exist at all as they would have effectively run interference from the beginning instead of only when confronted with a cooperating victim and a tape wherein the perp. admits guilt and apologizes. Saying the cops didnt prove intent is patently disingenuous and deflecting from their unwillingness to go forward with the case. Let Weinsteins lawyer debate the criminal intent element in court. So long as that tape was made available to the DA I would say the cawps did their part. Tape was very clear. He admits to groping her and even said he is used to doing such things. I might be guilty of some wishful thinking but methinks this goes up higher than the DA. How long before Harvey commits "suicide"? Hes gotta be on the Clinton Kill List by now. |
