I find the Dilly Dilly commercials painful but this is pretty clever. I think Bud is smart for how they handled this. Turned it totally in their favor.

Then I felt like a dick and wandered off. This is a common occurrence.

I've seen the commercial once, caused such cringing on my part that I felt flop sweat forming. Amazing example of trying too hard.

I've seen the commercial once, caused such cringing on my part that I felt flop sweat forming. Amazing example of trying too hard. JW, my reaction precisely. Never gave it a seconds thought again...until. I visited my 20 year old sopne at College for Thanksgiving. Im in the kitchen cooking dinner, Sopne and his pal are watching teh footballs in the living room. Every fucking time these annoying Bud lite commercials came on...the two of them, smart kids, cackled and "dilly dilly" filled the air. I shook my head in disbelief. Then I thought about it...fucking brilliant. These knuckle-heads and their ilk drink the cheapest beer they can buy....Natural Lite or "Natty lites" as they say. They are about to enter the real world after graduation whereupon they will likely to move up to a more mainstream brand...like maybe bud lite...brilliant marketing. An old dick like me who finds the commercials annoying is not about to change preferences based upon a commercial, these kids, a huge potential market...just might.
