Damn, frankly surprised he lasted this long.
I guess we’ll see if the egg known as Petty can last a full game.

It would of been totally acceptable to have McCown as a backup had the Jets had a true proven franchise QB. The whole idea of him starting this many games was not good and impeded the evaluation of the young QBs. I can only speculate the Jets already know that Petty and Hack will never be a viable starting, let alone franchise QB and this is the reason that McCown played as deep into the season as he did before his injury.

And so is Bowles.. yesterday's no show was par for the course for this guys team.. right up there with 4 th qtr collapses..

Josh McCown is a big reason why we have polished WRs on this roster; it was not a mistake to have a savvy QB bring the team along.
