The maestro and company with one of my favorite performances. Please check out fantastic drumming. Think it's Chester Thompson.

ROxy & Elsewhere drummers Ralph Humphries and Thompson talk about FZ hiring them; about giving them OctoPlex drumkits; all to fight the monster known as Mahavishnu Orch and Billy Cobham. Hilarious and insightful.

Hilarious and insightful. Every time I hear musicians talk about Zappa, two things stick out: 1. The reverence for the man and his music and 2. How everyone was petrified to play his music and/or emulate the work of the accomplished musicians he had in his bands. Thanks for the video, WCO.

Although never the greatest singer, Bowie had in spades what so many miss: phrasing. Perfect, angelic phrasing.
Guy could just channel magic when he wrote and performed. This one always gives me chills. Dude, you are missed. RIP.

Gem from the 1970s and the genius of Ken Hensley. Perfect for a rainy day morning like today.

Especially as a major fan of The Who, this is a favorite Christmas song. Wonderful interpretation. Should be on everyone's holiday music list.

Another hidden gem for your holiday list. Saw these guys open for Rush and ZZ Top back in 1976. Good Lord. Again, beautiful sentiment.
