If the Jets went to a 4-3 that would be a very nice LBer group.

If the Jets went to a 4-3 that would be a very nice LBer group. Agreed If we transition to more of a 4-3, then I'm loving the 3rd round as a sweet spot to add an OLB. Dawson, Ryan, Striker, etc. I think a kid like Eric Kendricks could potentially play there as well.

There is really only one LBer on the roster that I think would convert well to a 4-3, Davis.

I could get on board with this, easily. I've voiced my thoughts on Winston, so i won't kick up anymore dirt. I'll assume the new brass thinks they can turn out a franchise winner. I"m all in on Hardy. Antonio Brown comparisons are actually merited with this one.
Vereen and Hardy together would really complete this offense going into next season, along with Cable and his running game.
Need better depth at TE, not sure how i feel yet about Arneson. We can do better. My boy MyCole Pruitt is climbing boards, I like him to fill in as a more convention inline safety blanket, fees up Jace to do other things.

Are you kidding, have you seen my South Alabama pajamas? Lol His draft had a TE in the 6th, which MyCole could go anywhere from 5-7 IMO at this point. Saxton will look great in under armour workouts this offseason and will benefit from all the Bridge tape being reviewed. I expect him to go off the board somewhere in rnd 3-4.

The only thing I wouldn't be behind Is naming Tom Cable offensive coordinator. That would be an utter disaster as the last time a team gave him that responsibility , he did a very poor job handing that role. Now you say hire him to be offensive line coach, I wouldn't have a problem.

Looks like he is playing in The Shrine game. Both of them will be in the Shrine game -- Pruitt and Saxton.

Nice mock draft. I'll put mine out soon. I'm surprised you don't have another safety to play coverage (FS) to mask Pryor's shortcomings. Is Allen really a starter?

I appreciate you finally spending the first 2 picks on offense and deferring to the D side later on in the draft. My only problem is dumping a 4th for an injury prone headcase that will cost us $10 mil on the cap going forward. He almost played 9 games for us this year and ended up in a walking boot and missing a game. I'd rather move on from that type of player and allocate our resources for the inevitable rebuilding.
