Then CNN had a poll a couple days later with Trump at 35%. Must have polled their employees. Should mention this is about the time that the Obama Administration signed Obamacare into law. I believe it was March of 2010. Have to admit that 50% seems a bit high. But 45% for Trump is a disaster for Democrats in 2020. There is still a hidden 5%-10% after all this time. Maybe even bigger now with just how chastising the media, social media, academia and celebrities have been. He could lose popular vote by 10 million and it wouldnt mean a thing.

Again, a knock on the idea that the Russians won the election for Trump..rather than the Deplorables that are still out there and even more determined to keep the socialists at bay.

I just hope they are energized for the midterms. Some state legislature elections suggest the opposite. I think many have gotten a little fat and happy. Complacency. Anger motivates voters more than accomplishments.

(Albeit with a little more grace and elegance). PC talking heads in suits are dragging both parties down.

There is no way that Trump has a 50% approval rating.
That said, the guy is also so all over the road it's hard to tell on a given day who he's pleasing and who he's pissing off. It'd be like answering an approval rating poll on a schizo. "...well I approve of his Bob the Tax Cutter personality but disapprove of his Joe the Cooch Grabber personality..."

It doesn't have to be all or nothing, you know. Only a Sith deals in absolutes.

Maybe they were people that look at actual results rather than what CNN talks about.
