Interesting guess. So what are your predictions by team for the first 6? I can't predict the order of QBs gone, but with Luck's arm a wreck/huge question mark and a "once in a generation" QB class, I can see them taking a QB. I can also see Buffalo trading for Cleveland's #4. It would be unprecedented, but not totally unrealistic.

Here's a worst-case scenario that could certainly happen to us.
Browns draft Barkley, then the next four picks are QBs. Then, with Barkley off the board, the Giants either take the QB of their choice and deal the pick to Buffalo, which would probably take Darnold. Then, the Colts deal their pick (either to Buffalo, if the Bills didn't move up to No. 2, or to Miami or Arizona) to a team that also takes a QB such as Rosen.
The Browns come back at No. 4 and get their QB, which would be either Mayfield or Allen. Denver takes the remaining guy between Mayfield and Allen, since Case Keenum probably isn't the long-term franchise QB that, say, Cousins might have been.
So we'd be sitting at 6 and could draft any non-QB other than Barkley, but we'd effectively get shut out of the "big four" QBs despite having the No. 6 pick.
Making it all the worse is that about half of the truly high-quality NFL free agents have already reached deals with other teams. We have tons of money to spend, but just about the only thing we could still conceivably spend it on is the cornerback position, and maybe a running back like Dion Lewis or a lineman like Ryan Jensen and/or Justin Pugh.
Since we can afford it, I really think we at least have to come out of free agency with two starting corners and two starting offensive linemen, as long as they are young enough players that they can be here for a relatively long time.

Buffalo could conceivably now offer #12 and #22 for the Browns #4 in a pretty fair deal. Probably edges out the Jets offering #6 and #37. Actually it does if you go by the draft pick value chart.. edges it out by about 50 pts.

The one hole I see here, is I dont think Miami or Arizona has the draft picks to trade up into the top 2/3/4 unless they start throwing in picks for next year too. The Jets conceivably could make a better offer to move up than anyone but Buffalo now, if they're so inclined.

We can compete with Buffalo, at least in terms of the draft value. I posted this on another thread. Basically, it’s all going to come down to who wants to pony up the most picks.
The Bills two first round picks have a draft value of 1980.
The Jets 1st and early second round picks have a value of 2130.
The issue is that the Bills still have 2 second round picks. I think they are going all out to move up.
If they trade their two 1st rounders and two 2nd rounders, they have a draft value of 2,690.
To match, the Jets would have to trade their 1st, both seconds and their third to have a draft value of 2,770.
The potential battle to move up is going to cost one of them a lot.

Giants OL is near shit right now

I think we trade up and get Allen. We've been burned by injury histories so Rosen is out. If we don't trade up, then Mayfield All four are gone by 6. This.

Interesting guess. So what are your predictions by team for the first 6? I'll take a stab: Browns - Darnold Giants - Rosen Bills via trade - Allen Browns - Barkley Broncos - Mayfield

My bet is that Mac goes all in and moves up as high as he can to get a QB. He has to know that his career depends on it. If he does, he can almost get a bye year on getting fired

I honestly think it's going to be Baker. Sam will end up with the Browns one way or the other. Bills will trade up for Josh Allen or Rosen. Broncos will draft whoever the Bills didn't take. Jets and Mayfield matches up. Accuracy, ticket sales wise & a mentor like McCown will do him justice.

Nelson will have a case to be top5 as well. Bills supposedly in love with Josh Allen. Only thing that should scare fans is if Dolphins trades in front of us for Baker.
