Hmm - with Hyde signing for a fairly big deal in CLE it would seem to be a signal that CLE are valuing grabbing a QB more than RB (Barkley). And NYG def seem more intent on making one more push with Eli than trying to full rebuild - my money would be on them grabbing Barkley. DEN's fat contract for Keenum (18M+ per) also signals they are not longer going to be looking at project QBs.
Which mean of course three QBs "left" for spots 3-6 - with DEN out and CLE obviously not taking two of them. I suspect they grab Darnold first but it would seem that Mayfield, Rosen and Allen will find some distribtion between the Jets and whomever trades into the IND and CLE spots.
We're getting someone!

A guess:
1. Browns - Chubb 2. Giants - Barkley 3. Bills (via Trade) - Allen 4. Browns - Darnold 5. Denver - Mayfield 6. Jets - Rosen
And Nelson could be a wild card to jump into the top 5.
Personally I think at the moment I hope 5 and 6 are flipped. But I do think they'll have their shot at one of the top 4.

Watch us finally get the edge rusher we've been craving, and the fan base will lament not getting a QB After The Ghost I don't know if Jets fans will ever accept drafting an edge rusher at #6:) I have no clue on Teddy B - it's been so long since he played. But I watched some vids last night. The knee is obviously going to cut out his run game going forward but he did have quick feet and good pocket mobility, seemed to have a strong arm. He could work out, at only 25 and with relatively low wear (aside from the injury). The Baker Mayfield fans should note that Teddy B topped 70% comp% his last year in school. He shouldn't be written off completely IMHO.

There was a lot of talk about McCown being told he would be the starter but there is absolutely no way that he was given that guarantee. Maybe he was told that he would come into camp as the #1 QB. I know he got back on the field but I wonder just how healthy Bridgewater is. I've tried to find more details but there isn't a whole lot out there. He must be healthy enough to pass a physical &clear him because he did get back on the field last year. The question is, can he be the QB he was projecting to be. If so, he would blow right past McCown in training camp.

I’ve been thinking about the Jets moving up. I think both the Jets and Bills are going to try to move up as high as they can to get the QBs of their choice.
We are very close to even with the Bills in terms of draft value. Our 1st pick is worth more than their first, our first two picks are worth more than their first two, our first three are worth more than their first three and our first four are worth more than their first four.
I don’t think there is any way the browns trade out of the first pick. They have to throw their fans a bone.
Our disadvantage may be moving up to the second pick. All things being equal, I don’t think the giants want to trade with us and potentially give us our possible franchise QB. That could haunt then for years to come. If they were to trade, down, they may go with the Bills over us for that reason. Or they may make the trade with us because it still allows them to get a player they want and a load of picks.
If the giants stay put, I think moving up to the third pick gives us an advantage over the Bills. A team like the Colts could trade back with us and probably still get the player they want or possibly trade back again with a team like the Bills that is trying to get one of the big 4 QBs.
This draft is going to be very interesting.

The Bills will trade with the Giants. Not if Barkley is there. I think the giants want Barkley and they won’t get him later.

I wouldn't be shocked if Jets don't take a qb at 6 now. Which of these guys do they think is a cant miss?
Taking both teddy and Josh...
Maybe CB or trade back...and get Rudolph later. I don't like it but I could see them doing it.
