Might have some triple crown buzz. Not a horse guy, but... Yeah I think the horse that won was the fave. And that dudes uniform was clean as a whistle. Not a spec of mud. Guy knew what he was doing. Or at at least let Jesus take the wheel. |

I went in 2005. My buddy lived out there and through work, he got us tix in the Coca Cola luxury box. Besides airfare, I didn’t spend any money on the entire trip besides wagers. Because we were in a luxury box, I had to wear a jacket but the room we had was air conditioned with tons of food an a couple of bars. I had a mint Julio... it sucked. The day before the derby is the Kentucky Oaks. I hit the trifecta for $1,300. I didn’t win shit on Derby day. Giacomo, a 50-1 longshot won and paid a shitload of money but unfortunately I did not have him. But I did have a great time. I took this pic.  |

Javier Castellano finished 3rd in the Derby today. He lives in my town. Wife and kids are sweethearts. And Javier is worth approximately $326M. Not bad for being born into a jockey family and being the highest earning rider of the past 10+ years.
