January 9th ...Good day in NJ Jets History....

How could I forget this playoff game at Cincinnati.  This is a true story... 
For some reason, maybe because this was the strike shortened season, the game was not televised where I lived at the time in Yakima, Washington. 
I picked up a Seattle newspaper that morning which showed the Jets @ Bengals being broadcast on radio in the Seattle area!  Having a friend living
in Seattle, I called and asked him if he would tune in the game, and lay the phone reciever next to the radio.  I was able to listen to the entire game
on the phone, long distance.  McNeil ran for over 200 yards that game!!  The Jets went on to play in the AFC championship against Miami, after beating
Oakland.  Don't remember what the phone bill was, didn't matter.
