I remember the emotion as if it was yesterday.. January 10th 1999...
The Jets win the AFC East and finished second behind Denver in the Conference..at 12-4
They hosted Jacksonville after getting a first round bye...
The Jets dominated...although the final score was 34-24, it wasn't that close..
Vinny went 24-36 for 281 yds 1 TD 1 int.
The Jets had 3 rushing touchdowns. Two by Curtis Martin and one by Key...
Brunell was intercepted 3 times and looked lost...
The crowd was crazy at the Meadowlands as the green and white kicked the hell out of the Jags....
