Pretty much every thread in the Hampur involves Florida. As for SF I saw that the LA Times and NYT were covering its transition into a literal shithole. So it is no longer a "right wing conspiracy". Why is it some of these progressive paradises (SF, SEA) who claim to care the most for the "little guy" have such terrible homelessness and sanitary conditions? I was watching the local news last night and there is backlash now in NYC over those internet kiosks because the homeless people are hoarding them and millennials cant charge their phones. The horror. I was reading my SF Resident Voter's Guide; they want a homeless shelter and clean streets fund from companies in SF making >$50MIL gross revenues. Many of the homeless were sheltered by the state; Reagan stopped that (data showed the problem growing). So this is a novel way to fund the services needed to help "curb" the poop problem, since there is no stepping around this issue. Typical liberals.... soak the companies doing well to support those unwilling to work. Sort of like.. we have an ant problem and we've run out of honey. In stead of letting the ants alone, you tax the rich to get more honey. SF and California will drive away business eventually. The rank and file are leaving everyday. |

My only caveat on this is those companies are the same ones pushing for the ridiculous liberal policies that made it a cesspool there and are trying to push that on the rest of the country. I think if they are going to push for those policies then they should contribute. If they were normal companies that were politics agnostic the I agree wholeheartedly. WCO it is funny that you don't recognize that SF and other liberal (literal) shit holes are the only ones with this shit problem. It is the policies that you have supported that create that environment. It is a microcosm of having huge social programs, not enforcing laws and having open borders. If you will let anyone in, let them no assimilate and pay them for being there all you will get are the leeches. |

Everyone likes to blame Reagan but he hasnt been in-charge of anything in California for 45 years or federally for 30 years. There was and still is great resistance towards mental institutions from the ACLU and mental health professionals.
Not to mention California's current governor, a progressive icon, has been elected 3 times since Reagan. And the most progressive post WWII President with filibuster proof majorities in Congress passed a healthcare law which did nothing to fix the problem.

u mean what about ecuadorians...specifally a certain family that gave me canelazo on a bus from quito to manta... I hate those buses I feel like it always smells. My grandma used to take me on those buses from Ambato to Quito to see my aunt when my dad was away for work. Try Pajaro Azul it's a good liquor. that sugar cane is a killer...my wifes aunt used to make me this tomato juice in the morning...yum... |

NJ and NY people fled to PA for cheaper property taxes and good schools. Population blew up and now their taxes are skyrocketing. |

Spoken like a TRUE closed minded liberal. Plenty of kids in public schools here in Charlotte go on to Duke, UVA, UNC etc. When I lived in "West Islip" with it's "Good schools" that was BS. Only 60 percent of kids in WI go on to college. Health care here in Charlotte is WAY above average. You are so brain washed. Where do you live? Research the schools and Ill bet you'd be surprised. The teachers unions hide it best they can. |
