Florida Man found eaten by alligator actually died of meth overdose FORT MEADE, Fla. (AP) - Florida officials say a man who was found partially eaten by an alligator actually died of a meth overdose. According to an autopsy report from a central Florida medical examiner, Michael Glenn Ford II had methamphetamine in his system when he died, and that was the cause of his death. The body of the 45-year-old was found in a canal in June in Polk County. Ford’s hand and foot were found inside the gator’s stomach. Copyright 2019 Associated Press. Florida man claims to have been woken up on Christmas Eve by a home intruder sucking on his toes, according to a police report. The unnamed 20-year-old man in Bradenton, Florida told police that he was soundly asleep when the sensation of a man sucking his toes snapped him out of his slumber, according to documents obtained by The Smoking Gun. Police responding to reports of a burglary were the first to be told details of the bizarre incident. "The victim asked the suspect what [he] was doing and told [him] that he did not have any money. The suspect told him [he] was there to suck toes," said an officer in the police report, in which the unidentified suspect's gender has been redacted. The man apparently did not appreciate that fact that his toes were unexpectedly lodged in a stranger's mouth, responding with a violent barrage that brought the toe sucking to a halt and forced the intruder away from the house. "The victim proceeded to punch the suspect in the mouth and force [him] out of the bedroom and outside into the yard," says the report. "While he was forcing [him] out, the suspect told the victim that [he] had a gun and then attempted to fondle the victim's genital area. The gun was never seen during the altercation." Apparently unfazed by the assailant's gun threat, the man continued to successfully fight off his attacker, punching him "across the face for approximately 30 seconds." After finally wearing down the toe sucker, the man was able to return inside his home and call the police. However, the intruder was seemingly unwilling to give up his attack at that point. www.newsweek.com/florida-man-woken-man-who-broke-house-began-sucking-his-toes-1480384?fbclid=IwAR3M-J5rlzuXQOUb0Mndk4YsUvKHXKeBfHeBzhs9DCIZpO3mMWM7wWBAEOc

A Florida teacher has been busted for trying to get drugs delivered to her while she taught at an elementary school, according to authorities. First-grade teacher Valerie Lee Prince, 43, who looks like a Wookie fucked Andre the Giant, called a dealer to bring her an eight ball of meth at Jacksonville Heights Elementary School — saying she was willing to abandon her class to collect it, according to Clay County Sheriff’s Office. “You call me, I can just say I have to use the phone real quick — I could step out and come right back in,” she told the dealer, who was an informant who worked with police narcotics officers to record the call. The call suggested that she planned to “consume some of the narcotics and return to the classroom,” Lt. Domenic Paniccia told a press conference, which shared audio of the teacher’s desperate call. “The situation is disturbing,” Paniccia said. “This is someone that was in charge of kids, first-grade kids, and it’s something that was a priority to us.” His colleague, Sgt. Vincent Hall, said it was “a pretty nonchalant request,” saying, “The indication was that it was no big deal to the suspect.” An undercover officer later delivered her $85 of meth — outside of school hours — before Prince was arrested. She is charged with purchasing and possessing meth, a felony. She was still being held in Clay County Jail with an arraignment set for next month, court records show. The teacher “admitted to the use of methamphetamine on multiple occasions in the last six months” and also confessed to the school-delivery deal, Hall told the presser. “I hope that she’s stripped of her credentials and never allowed to be in contact with kids again,” Clay County Sheriff Darryl Daniels said. Duval County Public Schools said it was also holding its own investigation, with Prince “removed from the school.” “It is always disappointing and disturbing whenever an educator is implicated in this type of activity,” a spokesperson told First Coast News.

Florida man mauled by leopard. www.local10.com/news/local/2020/10/28/man-mauled-by-leopard-behind-davie-home/DAVIE, Fla. – A man who paid $150 for a “full-contact experience” with a black leopard says he had to undergo multiple surgeries after he was mauled by the fully-grown animal in an enclosure behind a Davie home. A picture obtained by Local 10 News shows Dwight Turner’s heavily bandaged head and ear after the savage attack, which detectives from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission say happened behind a home on Earnest Boulevard on Aug. 31. The man who lives there, identified as Michael Poggi, has a Facebook page saying he runs an animal sanctuary for rare and endangered animals. Authorities say Poggi was charged with allowing full contact with an extremely dangerous animal and was cited for maintaining captive wildlife in an unsafe condition. Investigators say Poggi charged the 50-year-old Turner $150 for a “full-contact experience” with his black leopard — to “play with it, rub its belly and take pictures.” FWC’s report says that once Turner walked inside the enclosure, the leopard attacked. The injuries were so severe, the report says the victim’s scalp was “hanging from his head and his right ear was torn in half.” Attempts to speak to Poggi at his home have been unsuccessful. Authorities say he is licensed to have the leopard. They say Poggi admitted to them, though, that what he did was illegal. Turner’s attorney says that the entire experience was illegal, so any waiver his client may have signed before the experience would be void. The attorney says Turner spent a week in the emergency room from his injuries.
