According to Gallup, 26 percent of Americans say they are Republicans, 27 percent say they are Democrats, but 44 percent say they are Independents. Yes, there is political division in the nation — too much of it! But Congress – egged on by the polar extremes — is out of step with the rest of us. That's the good news.

Ross Perot in 2020 I would love a credible third party to challenge these corrupt lazy fucks getting richer every year on the Gubbermint dole. Life time benny's and a generous pension. A third party that could actually force these dickheads to do what is best for the country not their party or pocket/pocketbook.

Until people get past the idea that a third party vote is a wasted vote, nothing will change.

Sadly it can be worse than a wasted vote as it really is a lost vote for the person they would have voted for had there not been a 3rd party candidate. Ross Perot hurt the Republicans (lol I voted Perot) Jill Stein hurt Hillary.

The independent voter is a myth.
We like to refer to ourselves as independent because it sounds and feels good. At the end of the day, we overwhelmingly revert back towards our biases.
Third party doesnt work in America. It only serves to play spoiler for one of the major parties. Could you imagine if we were like Europe? 3,4,5,6 parties. A president winning with 30-something percent of the vote? Approvals in the 20s?

I love what Sharpe has to say, but third party candidates cant raise the money or get the polling recognition, or even invited to debates, to let the public know who they are. Any shot of beating Cuomo has to come from voting for Molinaro.

It’s about who has money to just get nominated. It’s broken. You are a part of the 14%

You are a part of the 14% You've got people in NJ who would otherwise think Bob Menendez should be in jail, voting for him to keep his seat (D). You've got (R)s in NY willing to vote for Chris Collins, just to keep that seat (R).
