Informing users of upcoming speed traps certainly helps safety. You slow down, therefore being safer. Common. Those cocks can go suck a dick. The wife and I were going out to dinner once. Left in time to make our reservation. Along the way was a DWI checkpoint. Sat in the line for ten minutes to have a Cockp tell me to enjoy my dinner. Late for reservation. If I had known, I would have driven around. I have never been stopped in a DWI checkpoint in NC. Must not be a Southern thing. Between the CBs and the kids/spotters in the back of the Explorers using their NASCAR 2 ways you don't need Waze to spot the smokey bears. |

He would be smart to do so. Charlotte and Raleigh are up and coming places with a ton to do for all ages. I see SC mostly as a retirement state, most of the state anyway. Not on the Fl scale but not far behind it. We have our choice of stuff every weekend of all sorts of stuff to do. From food truck rodeos to concerts or movies on the lawn, Taxes are low, Housing is getting pricey but it really depends on where you wish to settle. From the Ral area you are 2 hours from the beach and 2 hours from the mountains. We have a robust wine country with some really good vineyards and breweries up in Elkin/Dobson/Yadkinville. Wifne and I go 2-3 times a year for a long weekend. If you ever go check out Raffaldini's. Great place and fantastic wine. We go to some of their seasonal dinners. Pricey but worth it. Jay Raffaldini knows his shit about food and wine. My kids love it here. Robust wind country you say old chap? 400 vineyards and 200 wineries is fucking robust. Even by your phony NE ff2 pea brain. It was a bullshit North Hempstead Town thing having to do a rental he owned, but I gave him a heads up to straighten it out and it all worked out to his advantage. I've never had an issue with Nassau/GC or Troopers. For the most part, I know how to drive without drawing attention and if I get stopped (very rare) I know how to handle it. |
