RIP.
Had a bit of a checkered life but turned it around in the second half. There's hope for everyone.

RIP. Hopefully at the pearly gates, St Peter just handed him a harp, and didn’t try to toss one to him.

RIP. Hopefully at the pearly gates, St Peter just handed him a harp, and didn’t try to toss one to him. Jets fucked up big time with this guy trading two firsts to move up for him at 2. He ended up being a small town kid totally ill-prepared for NYC and the NFL life and his anxiety led him down a dark path. I remember rooting for him so hard because can you imagine if he had blossomed with Wesley Walker across the field? Holy shit. I recently read that as a college athlete, he donated his Olympic Gold medal to the Texas Special Olympics after volunteering one day. He was so moved he drove home the same night, 70 miles, to get the medal. I hope he found peace, finally. RIP
