The kingdoms will go back to being independently ruled after either Jon or Arya kill Dany. Thats my prediction right now as well.

Instead of crazy, maybe Dany is acting like a real general: torching civilians and soldiers and a town definitely says "don't think about starting anymore shit!". William Tecumseh Sherman called to say whatsupfuckas This guy gets it. Bush 41 could have used this advice. I guess... maybe I'm looking at it from a modern day Post WWII perspective. We're talking about the equivalent of wiping out maybe 3/4s of Washington, DC (ok maybe not a bad idea) including civilians and soldiers who had surrendered. Once the bells rang, even if she didnt trust Cersei, she could have easily flown right to the Red Keep and just torched Cersei, Qyburn, the Mountain, etc. She didnt necessarily need to strafe the entire city with dragon fire. And back to one of my initial points, you've now destroyed your capital city, your only real port city to rule from, so you kind of cut off your nose to spite your face.
Then again, we killed a couple hundred thousand civilians @ Hiroshima and Nagasaki to try and end the war, so nukes, dragons, I guess theres not much difference?

And honestly, it doesnt make for good TV, but Tyrion had the best idea of all, just blockade the city... its winter, food will run low in a few weeks, and half a million starving peasants would revolt.

And as a follow-up to a the "Starbucks Episode", there will be a "Tesla Episode" where Dany runs out of dragons and drops exploding fiery Teslas on her enemies.

Hopefully they'd be smart enough to revolt when really hangry, and before dying. Pretty standard medieval siege warfare.

It would be different if evil wins and the kingdom is ruled by a despot..like the Jets..
