I liked it. Certainly was a surprise. Its a fucking TV show, what did people expect? I didn't NOT like it, I just felt like the whole mass genocide thing was a major character turn out of nowhere. A heel turn of epic proportions. Then again, some people are saying there were subtle hints all along this was coming. Like they said, if you think this is going to have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention. I give them credit, there's about a half a dozen ways this could end up; predictable it ain't.

They did kinda hint at it... And in the Starbucks ep you see her gettin the crazy eye and goin manic. Full paranoid schizo goin on. I lol at the time at it and nobody paid attn but I remember pacifically thinking, wow lol they left that strange bugeyed shot of her in there that looked more like it belonged on Fear n Loathing in Las Vegas once the adrenachrome takes grip lol

I liked it. Certainly was a surprise. Its a fucking TV show, what did people expect? To not completely go against the character of the show and turn into some Disney shit Disney is in pretty deep with wicked queens.

Agreed more time and/or a better actress would have done loads more to sell the transformation. I do agree that Dany is getting killed, most likely by Arya, lesser chance Jon Snow. I think Sansa winds up on the throne now... I think after last night, Jon is disgusted by southerners, and he's going to abdicate and head back north, maybe to hang with Tormund and Ghost. I'm thinking Tyrian might Kill Dany. Maybe Tyrian kills Dany, Jon kills Tyrian and Dany dies in Jon's arms kind of thing.

I would not be surprised if Dany tries to kill Jon, but he escapes, Arya kills Dany while wearing Grey Worm or someone elses face, and that in the end, no one sits on the throne, that they go back to a bunch of territories and houses. Maybe the whole deal is that in the game of thrones, there are no winners, and things end up like they were before Aegon united the seven kingdoms?
Whos left of the major houses? Sansa/Arya/Bran of House Stark, the latter two who dont care about ruling, Jon Snow and Dany of House Targaryen, Gendry of House Baratheon, but he's got a long road to actually take that seat, and Tyrion of House Lannister, who may not survive next week? All the Tyrells are dead. House Arryn is just that kid, Lord Robin. House Greyjoy is basically Yara and her Ironborn on an island. The Tullys and the Freys are all dead. Maybe a couple of Martells in Dorne. And the capital city and major port is destroyed.

You guys are all pussies. You WANT a Disney ending. FUCK THAT. Blondie did what she had to. This is olden days. You have a dragon you use it. Seek and destroy.
Unlike Rex Ryan in AFC Championship games, that girl knows how to finish!

Unlike Rectal Ryan in AFC Championship games, that girl knows how to finish! A Jew cheering for the genocidal demise of hundreds of thousands of innocents by burning is sort of ironic. Too soon?

Arya looked just as crazy as Dany, after the dragon attack. She hasn't used a face in awhile, so i agree she does something like that and kills Dany.

Tried to call my son last night..watching GOT's with his GF. Checked my sports on twitter this morning..first 3 writers are babbling about GOT's without even referencing the show's name or sports..just mentioning names and critiquing the show like bitches....wtf.
And to be clear, I started out loving it before it turned into farcical science fiction. GFY's whemo's.

Instead of crazy, maybe Dany is acting like a real general: torching civilians and soldiers and a town definitely says "don't think about starting anymore shit!".
William Tecumseh Sherman called to say whatsupfuckas

I had some issues with the episode, but still liked it overall.
Mostly from what I’ve garnered online and at work yesterday, most people seem to be Dany fanboys/fangirls who are just mostly pissed because they went ahead and turned her into the Mad Queen, as if that was some character assassination or something.
They’ve been hinting at that bitch being a suppressed lunatic for multiple seasons. She’s threatened to burn entire cities and slaughter innocents in the past before being eventually talked out of it by someone like Jorah, Tyrion, Varys, etc.
I’m glad they took the Mad Queen angle.
My only major complaint was the pretty lame deaths of Jamie and Cersei. And that Euron turned out to be a completely useless and shit villain.
Like I said, I have my issues with the last 2 seasons as a whole, but it seems like most people complaining on the internet are pissed off because they aren’t trying to turn this into the cliche fantasy, storybook ending.
In the end I don’t think anyone sits on the Throne.
The kingdoms will go back to being independently ruled after either Jon or Arya kill Dany.
