and to inner-city crime. We have a lot of issues right now and I haven't heard any ideas that would help fix them. Reform and fund mental health. Stop spending trillions on BS wars and spend it there. Get Big Pharma out from the lead and let the Mental health clinical people determine the best course. I'm for all of that. |

This man drove 750 miles to go in a killing spree. As to inner city crime their citizens are not numb to it maybe certain politicians are. I also think that no one, except LEO's and Mil, should be able to own a weapon capable of killing 9 and wounding 26 in less than a minute. I just read that this Ohio shooter was killed less than a minute after his first shot went off. I am a multi gun gun owner and I support the 2nd A. My Sopne had one of these rifles. I encouraged him to sell. It took a year but he finally did. These are not home defense or hunting weapons. Makes no sense for Joe citizen to be able to own them .

Not attacking, honest question as I don't own any guns, but what makes them so much more lethal than any other gun? Usually they are low caliber and it is already illegal to make them automatic. How is it any worse than a couple pistols? More rounds per mag and takes 2 seconds to switch mags. These are also not difficult to turn into near fully automatics as well. These also have a bit of a spray capability to them reducing the need for accuracy in trying to hit moving targets. If he had 2 Glocks fully loaded he has say a total of 32 to 34 rounds. So he could not hit 35 and he would need a high degree of accuracy in that environment to even hit something in the 20's I believe. I am no expert but I have spent some time with that weapon. Scary what you can do with it. |

It tumbles through the body and leaves huge gaping hole on exit. When the round hits it's target it kind of explodes due to the speed. I destroyed watermelons with just one hit. It really has no place in the general pop. Again, I am a multi gun fun owner. These scare me. The victim has very little chance of survival, even if they make it to a hospital. |
