I am reading the responses to the Sandy Hook video I posted. It is all about feelings. No actual information. When people bring up statistics they get chastised. It amazes me that SO many people thing that you can get a gun without a background check. It is a great organization especially when when you consider none of it would have made a difference in the Sandy Hook massacre. Lanza was 20 years old. Lanza was able to get his hands on a rifle without a background check, his mother should have never had all of those weapons in her home. |

It is a great organization especially when when you consider none of it would have made a difference in the Sandy Hook massacre. Lanza was 20 years old. Awareness would have stopped a lot of the shootings. Maybe if his tool of a mother (who got the guns legally) had seen the signs and done something about her demon spawn those kids would still be alive. WHY YOU SHOULD TAKE ACTION NOW In 4 out of 5 school shootings, a t least one other person had knowledge of the attacker's plan but failed to report it. That's why our proven programs train youth and adults to identify warning signs and intervene before a tragedy can occur. More than 7.5 million people nationwide have been trained in Sandy Hook Promise's proven Know the Signs programs. Focusing on prevention helps end the epidemic of school shootings and violence.
