Ridiculous. LEO called actually 39 times over 7 years to Nikolas Cruz' house, along with that whole laundry list of school issues, and NOTHING wound up on his record that would prevent him from legally buying a gun. No criminal record, no mental health adjucation, nothing.
How do you prevent this?

Anyone think this would help in any way? I was under the impression that the "gun show loophole" was total BS and that the only thing that doesn't require a background check is private sales which is covered here. That being said I don't think any of this would have prevented any of the recent shootings.

I am reading the responses to the Sandy Hook video I posted. It is all about feelings. No actual information. When people bring up statistics they get chastised. It amazes me that SO many people thing that you can get a gun without a background check.
