Bowles is the guy we should hire. Either guy would be fine but if you have a chance to get Bowles, I think they should go for it should Seattle win their next game.

Bowles is the guy we should hire. Interesting. Why do you say that?

Sounds like Atlanta is going to make a hard push for him possibly knowing that Quinn is our guy.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution sees Cardinals DC Todd Bowles as the "leading candidate" to replace Mike Smith as Falcons head coach. The Falcons were in the Rex Ryan hunt, but lost out to the Bills. Bowles will interview for a second time with Atlanta on Wednesday. Per the Journal-Constitution, Fagtriots OC Josh McDaniels is expected to stay with New England after his team advanced to the AFC Championship Game, nixing any opportunities for McDaniels to interview this week. Seahawks DC Dan Quinn is expected to go to the Jets. Bowles is said to be tight with new Falcons lead personnel man Scott Pioli, who is Bill Parcells' son in law. Bowles worked for Parcells in Dallas and Miami.
BTW - WTF is with the automatic edits/word changes ?

With the Denver job opening up and ATL still undecided I think we might not end up with Quinn. Assuming Gase gets promoted in DEN, ATL is the best job opening b.c of the QB and I think Quinn would choose them if given the choice.

at this point either quinn, bowles or even marrone would work out well for the jets. the thing is you just can't tell how a coach will work out especially if it's their first time. that's why there are 6 openings every year and guys like cowher and gruden stay on the sidelines collecting their checks from cbs, nbc and fox.

With the Jets luck Quinn will be the Atlanta Head Coach, Bowles will be the 49ers Head Coach and Marrone will get the Bears gig, leaving the old Wood man high and dry.

Fat mike gave Bowels rave reviews on the wfan today. I was surprised. Said he knows people who know him and he's ready to be head coach. Really praised him hard...actually said hed be great fit for n.y Also said he doesn't know much about Quinn except he's a good d.c. I'm starting to get worried we may lose out on some positional coaching talent if we wait for Quinn...
