Died today. Great boxer. Hagler vs Hearns was one of the best fights, ever. Back when boxing was a relevant sport. RIHSB. I can remember looking forward to fights so much. That was one that exceeded expectations. “8 Minutes of Mayhem”

I actually want JD to trade Sam and for him to be successful elsewhere so sadface is left with egg on his face and his dick in his hand. That's an unusually personal reply to a basic football post, no? Agree or disagree but jeez. I for one admire his passion.

Boy, if accurate, I can't believe the Cheaters will continue to roll with Sham Newton. I would of thought they would of tried to get Jimmy G back or look elsewhere. Could it be a case of Belicheat's ego, not admitting he was wrong in bringing in Sham Newton? Who knows. He’s never been afraid to cut his losses though. The contract is really only about 6M, so maybe they’ll continue to look. One can hope. But QB isn’t really an important position any more. Versatile special teamers are where it’s at

"We have clearance, Clarance." "Roger, Roger. What's our vector, Victor?" "Tower's radio clearance, over!" "That's Clarance Oveur, over." "Roger." "Huh?" "Roger, over." "What?" "Huh?" "Who?"

Over 40 million a year. These QB salaries destroy your cap situation. Yep. From Bleacher Report: There's a popular cliche that you just can't let franchise quarterbacks get away, but that's not necessarily true. Oftentimes, star quarterbacks simply become too much of a burden on the payroll. When the Green Bay Packers won their only Super Bowl this century, Aaron Rodgers made just $6.5 million. He's since cashed in and the Packers haven't been back. When the Seattle Seahawks went to back-to-back Super Bowls last decade, Russell Wilson made a combined $1.2 million in those two campaigns. He's since cashed in and the Seahawks haven't been back. Mahomes was cheap when the Kansas City Chiefs won, Carson Wentz and Nick Foles were inexpensive when the Philadelphia Eagles won, the Baltimore Ravens won in 2012 before Joe Flacco got paid, and most of Tom Brady's seven rings have come when the most decorated player in league history cost below market rate. In fact, according to Over the Cap, it's been more than a quarter-century since a team quarterbacked by a player with one of the league's three highest cap hits at that position won the Super Bowl. Prescott might not be quite that expensive this season, but combine his increasingly large cap hits with those belonging to Elliott, Cooper, Lawrence and those veteran offensive linemen and it looks pretty damn unsustainable.
