So if Gase is getting fired and BB has listed the entire roster as doubtful, could this be the most meaningless game in the history of sports?

No company says you’re fired then let’s you stick aro7nd for another week or two. Jets haven’t told gase he’s fired. Simple as that. Correct. Otherwise say good bye to shit ton of office supplies.

High-priced free agents alway make me nervous. Hard to tell if their success was based on their talent or the situation they came from...also, why didn't their old team want to pay them. And will they get lazy after big guaranteed money. Same could be said for a top draft pick like Lawrence. Especially when you consider the juggernaut he is coming from. 2/3 of your concerns about top FAs can be said for top draft picks. Situation and lazy after payday. Biggest thing with guys like Lawrence is when they throw they seem to have all day with no one even close to hitting them.

A little off topic but does anyone know of info on what percentage of free agent signings are considered “successful” vs. not? Obviously it’s not an exact science but if people say a good draft is hitting on 50%, I’m curious what the consensus is on free agent signings. I don’t even know how it would be measured. Asking for a friend, no homo. since youre working with known commodities it better be a lot higher than 50%. but at the same time most free agent signings are not big-name supposed difference makers, the majority are brought in to fill holes (no homo) and hold the fort (homo). draft picks - success would mean they don't suck, but the higher you pick the more you expect free agents - success would mean they do what you expect them to do, and for most the expectations aren't nearly as high as a high draft pick. so if you had to give it a number id say its probably 75%. if you sign 4 free agents, 3 do what you expected and 1 is a surprising dud, you still did pretty well even if the dud was highly paid High-priced free agents alway make me nervous. Hard to tell if their success was based on their talent or the situation they came from...also, why didn't their old team want to pay them. And will they get lazy after big guaranteed money.

Is it OK to be happy for the bills? Well maybe not happy, but their success doesn't bother me s much as it would for the Pats or Dolphins. Never really hated them like the Pats or Dolphins. Are you talking about the teams or the fans?

I should mention I deal with a bar next door full of drunk wannabe bikers who think they are the hells angels and aren't. Total assholes. Im not usually 5hrre 5hat late for that reason. But I been able to silence ignore them for years because they know not to push the envelope to far but after so many years assholes get bolder and bolder and a5 some point you have to draw the line. I thought I was done drawing lines in the sand. Figured just by talking to someone people would catch on that i could easily take an eye out of your fucking head if pushed in the wrong way. As usual kindness being respectful and dead silent is still mistaken for weakness. And things like this happen. This is why Helen Keller got in so many fights. Things improved when she learned the middle finger. I always wondered why Helen Keller got in so many fights.
