I hope the Jet's clean Cheat'in Tom's clock tonight. Oh wait, he's not with the Cheaters anymore and they are 2 - 5 and in next to last place in the AFC East. I guess I'll just have to settle for what the Saints did to him last night. Ok, I guess the Jets have to lose so the Jags won't lap them in the Trevor Lawrence Sweepstakes. Talk about yer cold takes. After all is done, Biden’s margin of votes in the swing/swung states will be about the same - or less - than Trumps 77,000 margin in those same states. The electorate narrowly repudiated Trump, but that’s hardly an endorsement of Dem approach or platform. I harbor no delusions about that whatsoever. |

Fucking COVID, you muther fucker. Friggin wife convinces me it would be nice to take the bicycles out to Jones Beach and ride the path to Tobay beach. Of course the parking lot is packed so we put on our stupid masks as we made our way to the path. As we clear the lot I pull off my mask and attempt to hook it on the reflector on my handlbar. As I'm doing this I enter a decline and start to accelerate crazily but I'm fumbling with the fuckin mask. I finally free up my left hand and it darts to the left brake handle but instead of locating it and gradually braking, I fucking death-grip it, insta-locking up my wheel. Bike stops, I fly over the handle bars and hit the ground on my side with an awful thump. Felt like a bolt of lightening hit my ribcage. My hands are covered in blood as I must have tried to break the fall with my palms..I have no idea how I didnt hit my head (of course no helmet..dick) or break my wrists. Pretty sure I broke/fractured a rib. Pretty sure it was because of COVID and not because I am a spaz. Just now dipping into my stash of oxy's I had left over from a previous surgery. (And yes, I got back on the bike and rode 6 miles because I felt bad for my wife. I'm paying for that now too.) Prolly go for an xray tomorrow at a Doc n a Box. Fuck you COVID you cocksucker. Thoughts and prayers. You sound extremely uncoordinated. Actually, sorry this happened. Hope you heal up fast. |
