No offence dude, but this is the same stuff you regurgitated last year about Mayfield. Since then he went number one overall spanked our ass coming off the bench on national tv Murray is 100% in play I simply didn’t believe that Mayfield was worth a Top 10 pick. Never thought the guy would be a bust. But I sure as hell wouldn’t have taken him over Darnold. Mayfield is small and even he towers over Murray. I don’t see this working out at all. Kid could be a star outfielder for the A’s with the potential to land a $100+ million contract in the not too distant future. Don’t know why he would risk that by potentially getting snapped in half in the NFL. First he has to spend 4 years in the minors and hopes he gets called up. He gets drafted #1 instant 40 million and stardom endorsement he will top that 100 million in 6 months.

Kyler Murray just declared for the draft - and coach KK loves him (hmmm.....wonder what the middle name is), is now in ARZ, which has the first pick. Hard to see ARZ not drafting Kyler Murray and trying to deal Douche-Face Rosen.... Also hard to imagine Bosa doesn't go to SF; or fall to the Jets at 3. Either way, if Murray goes #1, that's going to leave some reach players on the board for Jets #3 - improving our odds of a good deal with another team. What? Arizona is not trading Rosen. Never know Rosen has the worse QB rating of any rookie Arizona could trade him off for a mid first round pick to keep the golden boy happy if theres one franchise being run worse then the Jets its Arizona. Think about it they hire wilks then fire him in his first year.

He is a good hire I mean, you goofs can sit around spamming this “Macfucko this and Macfucko that” stuff until your blue in the face. That’s basically what the entire board has turned into. I prefer to not be constantly miserable over entertainment. Gase is a respected offensive coach. Gase is known to be good with QB’s. Gase is a hard ass who won’t tolerate bullshit like players constantly showing up late to meetings or skipping them entirely. He’s shown that he’ll quite literally kick their asses off the team for such infractions. Is he the ideal coach? No, and neither is McCarthy. I could not acgree with this post more. I’m not in love with the Gase hiring but I don’t hate it. I’ve certainly been wrong before. I didn’t like McCarthy or Rhule. I’ll hope for the best. But wow... this board has become unreadable. I’m serious. It is worse than the landing strip. Worse. And that says a lot. I rarely read the landing strip. Now this place is just a bunch of miserable whiny bitches who talk like 6th graders. I remember when this place was fun to read. Now it sucks. I hate the Gase hiring I do believe Mcarthy was best coach to come along since Parcells and he will end up like Andy Reid with a change of scenery. I think Mcarthy could have bought a lot of what he learned in Greenbay to help change the team from the front office to the locker room. whatever team gets him will end up like the chiefs while the Jets fire Gase and Mac and look for a new coach and GM. I think fans will be feeling the pain for a long time. Gase is a better hire then Rhule who is just a glorified team manager but the only other coach the Jets interviewed worth taking a risk was cliff Kingsbury. I seriously hope Im wrong but this guy reminds me so much of Rich Kotite they have the same identical record same ranking offensively collapsed both teams the same way. Im serious when this guy reminds me of Kotite.

It's not really all that funny considering the Jets just hired someone who had worse Stats on his team than ours, though....

Im getting flashbacks. all it would take to make it complete he passes on Quinton Williams for a TE

As an OC or head coach, has a QB ever improved while working with Gase? Hey he developed Brock Osweiler

Gase Is better then Rhule that would have been an epic disaster which this franchise would not recover. the guy was nothing more than a game manager.

I don't like the hire but I expected the Jets not to hire Mcarthy. This front office wants to stay in control Mcarthy would have challenged that. Its better then Rhule who would have been a massive disaster.

A lot of time watching NFL tape? You mean NFL games??? Lolololol!!! The Jets are run by fucking morons!!! Also another look at his stats he is the mold of run first ground and pound. so to say this guy will innovate the Jets offense just what the Jets love run and dink and dunk.

Great as an manager but isnt a great offensive mind. He isnt Cliff Kingsbury or Gase. He is very dependent on getting right coordinators on both sides of the ball plus a QB coach. Could be another parcells or be a dud if he doesnt get the right people. Very big risk to take considering just traded the house to take a QB. Any young, less experienced guy - Rhule, KK, Gase, whomever - is going to need to have a great staff around him... thats one place Bowles dropped the ball. Thats somthing the Jets never attract experienced big name coordinators thats where this could end up over his head. Just recent post suggest he bring in Kevin Gilbride Jr for OC is even worse you have no experience at all running a NFL offense a career position coach trying out oc just what this team needs 4 years of firing and shuffling coordinators

One good year at Baylor? Convince me. Turned two programs around and with some signature wins. Coached quite a few players into the NFL from Temple. And was apparently offensive play caller as a HC. 2013 Temple 2–10 2014 Temple 6–6 2015 Temple 10–4 Beat Penn State for the first time in 60 years. Went to championship game - lost 2016 Temple 10–3 Went to championship game - won. 2017 Baylor 1–11 2018 Baylor 7–6 - Beat Vandy in Texas bowl.

Rhule turned around Temple and Baylor if you consider 7-6 record and finishing 5th turning around he has no experience developing a QB no experience working as a coordinator in the NFL with exception of being a offensive line coach he has no NFL experience perfect candidate For the Jet brass to keep that status Quo going. I expect 100% this guy to get hired by tonight or tomorrow morning.I know as long as the Johnson own this team we have no chance of ever getting a big name coach. Its been this way since Parcells left town.
