Can someone with actual football knowledge explain?
The commentator said Winters gives the center the sign or whatever to snap. Is that really how that shit goes down? You have a silent count but you still have the G tell the C "pssst he's ready", and basically tip off to the defense that the snap is coming??
Dunno, that just seemed peewee shit, along with the rest of it.

He also stood around and made no effort to knock the ball out of the endzone. I still dont think this kid is fully recovered from the Mono. Doesnt seem right.

He wanted nothing to do with going after it. The commentator was saying Winters looks back (and you see him look back), then there's a little twitch from Winters, and the center snapped the ball. Sounded weird that there's a sign from the G to the C.

The kid is punch drunk. Would you run after that ball if you were him? Probably just figures he had been hit enough already. How have they not replaced the Oline coach at the very least? Chargers replaced their O Coordinator and things look better. Get Gase out of here or put Sam on IR for the rest of the season and get him to a shrink that specializes in PTSD.

It was definitely on Sam. The game has sped up so much for him. It must feel like there are 20 defenders out there. Especially with the worst OL i have ever seen in my life.
Im glad he didnt go after the ball. Dont need to have 1000 pounds of men falling on him.

Sam either saw something or wanted to change something AFTER he gave the signal. Then he makes no attempt to get the ball out of the back of the end zone. if the DL did not turn into butterfingers that would have been 7 instead of 2. Kid is shot, unfortunately.

When does Sam demand a trade? Put it on a napkin "I resign Adam Gase as Head Coach of New York Jets" Sincerely, Sam

WTF happened on the bad snap/safety? One guy hiked it to another guy but the other get didn't catch it. Common.
