What about Jerry Jeudy? He’s good too. Actually, this is looking like a good WR draft. I think Jeudy is the first WR taken, and wont be there when we pick. we'll be lucky to stay within the top 10

I think Jeudy is the first WR taken, and wont be there when we pick. we'll be lucky to stay within the top 10 Right now we are #9. Im assuming a loss to the Ravens Thursday. Then a tossup with the Steelers, and quite possibly a loss to Buffalo, although in true Jets fashion, a week 17 win could knock us out of the top 10. I hope the Steelers keep winning, as that Dolphins 1st rounder they got from Pitt keeps dropping. I dont see Jeudy getting past 5 or 6. Gotta think if the top of the order holds steady, Bengals take Burrow, then Giants take Young, Redskins take Thomas. Then you have the Dolphins at 4, where after the Tua injury, things get murky I think. Honestly, if we pick 7/8/9/10, I might listen to offers to move down a couple spots and pick up another pick. Say someone like the Chargers falls in love with Herbert, and we dont need a QB, so move down a couple spots.

We could use Jacksonville beating the Raiders this week. And the Dolphins beating the Giants, since we have a better chance of "catching" Miami in the draft than we do the Giants. Redskins beating the Eagles would be nice. Lions beating the Bucs as well. Cardinals beating the Steelers is a long shot.

If the Giants beat Philly tonight, I think we drop to 10. Eagles would be 5-8 as well with a weaker SOS.

Ehh, we won without Bell and Adams. Trade them for a 1 and a 2. 😂

Karma from the last game of the season in Bowles' 10 & 6 first year. It's just a feeling I've had for a while, based on nothing more. Also, the media, especially Joe Bro, is saying that the Giants should not give Leonard Williams any kind of elite money contract, that he's just an average defensive lineman. If this is so, we don't get a 4th rounder from them ... hey ... but maybe we get him back with the Jets at a reasonable price.

I would probably agree with Joe B that the Giants SHOULDNT give Leo a big contract, but after making the trade, I feel like Gettleman is going to feel like he has to, to justify giving up the pick(s).

Kid isn’t a great athlete and he has a major issue with concentration drops. That was on full display in both Alabama losses to LSU and Auburn. Dropped multiple balls that hit him right in the chest. Seems like whenever Alabama needs a big play in the passing game, he’s 4th in the pecking order behind Ruggs, Waddle and Smith. He’s a great route runner and a very savvy player, but his upside is definitely limited. It’s clear to me that Lamb is the best WR in this class. And it might be the best WR class we’ve ever seen.

But our focus is fixing the O-Line....Do we use the top pick on a WR then?

We definitely need to fix the offensive line, but also have a glaring need for a #1 WR, and a #1 CB as well. Depending on where they pick in the first, Id have no problem addressing WR or CB if you could get a stud.

I would There’s a sizable gap IMO between Andrew Thomas and the 2nd tier OT’s. Lamb has all-pro potential and would potentially give Darnold a dynamic go-to target in the passing game for the next decade. I’m not passing on that for someone like Tristan Wirfs or Alex Leatherwood who may be better suited to play RT or kick inside to OG at the next level. People also seem to be ignoring the high bust rate for OT’s in the 1st round over the last 15 years. If I was Douglas, I’d throw the bank at Scherff and another OG like Joe Thuney or Andrus Peat in free agency, take Lamb in the 1st then look at grabbing a center like Creed Humphrey or an OT like Trey Adams in the 2nd.

You do realize the last time the Jets drafted someone with the name that sounds like "Lamb", right?
Yikes.

Was it him that was blind in one eye?
