If Rex gets Dunbar, we are fucked when it comes time to play Buffalo. Their d-line is insane as it is, and Dunbar will only make them better.
We better get a QB and fast.

We may need to win vs. Buffalo in 9-6 type games. Yep. True to Rex's from, the jets will be down 6-0 with 3:27 left, and we'll use Rex's shitty time/clock management skills along with our 3 time outs and the 2:00 warning, against Rex's 0 timeouts left, and kick 3 field goals in three successive possessions (after EJ or Mark throws an INT on one, fumbles the ball on the other, and has a delay of game penalty on 4th and inches and a subsequent sack to turn the ball over on possession).
We win!
(I'm so fucking happy to start this thing over from scratch.)

up, grateful for the postseason excitement of the first two years but the rest of Rex's tenure was pure buffoonery.

Would not be much of a drop off from Dunbar

AFCE is getting even more uncomfortably incestuous than usual...I like it.

Yeah, I guesse we're fucked - might as well forfeit those games. With Rex and Dunbar, we have have no chance to beat Buffalo in any of the next 5 years. The other 10 coaches and 45 players on teh team are pretty irrelevant. Seriously? ??

Fins fans seem pissed. Sounds like a good hire.

Yeah, I think they interviewed him. Not sure he will get the job. Was a long time position coach under Belidick both D-Line and Linebacker. Apparently the guy is a great teacher, a technician, works hard and motivates the players but not really an Xs and Os guys which is why he kept getting passed for the DC job with the Pats. Excellent position coach but not really coordinator material... at least per BB

More worried about the oline. Agreed. I dont know who he will bring in to coach O-Line. This is probably one of the more important hires. He was on the same staff as Sparano both in Dallas and Miami. Could he be reaching out to him? If Doug Marrone does not get a HC or Coordinator job, would he be willing to coach O-Line for us? That would be a great hire but doubt hed take the job. Mike Solari from SF (if free to leave) would be a good veteran option.

I was thinking Bowels and Gailey could try to bring Sparano to coach the OL, I wouldnt have a problem with that, pretty sure that was arrangement in Dallas at one point under Parcells.
