I don’t get it. Jets want to see what they have in Darnold. And we know that Adam Gase is a complete fucking moron, and basically destroys offenses and quarterbacks. So how is keeping Gase on any longer a good idea? How can you evaluate Darnold with this infected puss oozing gash of a head coach still here?
Ownership should call cooter in to main office immediately. Sit him down and tell him this goes no further than these walls, and ask him straight up what he would change if he were in charge. If he says nothing, then keep looking. If he has a few things he’d do differently, fire Gase and promote cooter to interim HC immediately.
Simple.

Plus we'll be able to say "Coach Cooter" over and over and not get in any trouble. Which is nice.

Would be great to see Gettleman make a stupid move two times in a row.
He's only lucky the Jets don't know how to develop QB's at all.
Still, maybe Trevor is one of those who is effective IN SPITE of the garbage surrounding him?
That's the only way a QB will ever be effective in today's NY Jets Gong Show.

All these penalties again shows how poorly prepared Gase has this team.

Special teams is terrible too.
Special Teams have been "special" as in "Special Needs".

If Jerome Bettis played for the Jets, he'd be the Short Bus.

93 yards on offense in the 1st half 67 penalty yards Sure sign of a well coached team

If nothing else I would have to say that the jets future is bright considering how well Miami and Gase's explayers are doing.
