One game does not a quarterback make. Good or bad.
You're correct.
I was just referring back to when Fields struggled and many here pointed that out....and now many of those same people here are on his tip.
He reminds me of Sanchez and Darnold coming out. Not a lot of starts, hot cold but came on strong in as few big games. I do not watch much college ball but the lack of overall starts and what looks like inconsistent play, could just give us another Darnold.

When a QB that runs a much a Fields does, he will eventually not get up. If the Jets draft that type of QB, they will be looking for replacement in 4 years due to injuries.

Though it hasn’t been 4 years yet. I didn't mean to insinuate that type of QB would not bring excitement and possibly put the Jets into the playoffs. I just meant that with a running college QB comes to the NFL he does make things happen, frustrates defenses and is tough to defend. However, eventually someone on the defensive side of the ball is going to hurt him. Injuries are a part of the game but when you lose your starting QB it's different than losing a receiver or running back. That being said, Fields is a tough kid who did take a big shot last night to his side but returned to keep running and throwing. I was always impressed with his running ability but he really winged it last night too. I could be completely wrong but Il say keep Darnold, trade down and address the needs of the team.

If they did that, people are going to get fired over there.
But man....that would turn shit upside down over here at the same time (Jets get Lawrence anyway).
But that's just a pipe-dream at this point.

The soon to be London Jaguars have drafted the likes of Blake Bortles and Leonard Fournette in the Top 4 of the draft over the last 6 years. They’re every bit as stupid or stupider than the Jets.
