Let Hendrickson languish in Cincinnati. They put fucking chocolate in their chili and serve it over spaghetti. They also put cinnamon in that shit! Wtf! Seems like it must have been a mistake with the spice jar but someone was too afraid to tell the cook it was gross Imagine my horror when I made chili dogs and put that shit on there from the can it was like a awful practical joke

Zero winning culture O linemen signed. The type of guys you can count on both on and off the field. In my opinion, troubling. I would of went almost entirely O line in FA with a quality WR. Then used the draft the other needs on offense and defense. However, first things first in my opinion, get a solid O line.

Where do the draft eligible OL guys stack up? I watch no college football and really rely on this board to point me in the right direction as far as my research goes.

As far as WR, I would say this years is not as plentiful as the 2000 draft. That being said, where the Jets are positioned to pick, whether they trade down or not, they should theoretically be able to get 3 - 5 plug and play players.

Maybe I'm completely wrong, but I've always viewed Free Agency as a vehicle to get a few cornerstone pieces for a team while filling in the rest by the draft. It is also a way for a team to get the guy or guys needed to put a team over the top to compete for a Championship. The Jets are in the former, not the latter position.

It is also a way for a team to get the guy or guys needed to put a team over the top to compete for a Championship. The Jets are in the former, not the latter position. After years of over shooting (see Bell, Mosley..etc), I'm fine with not overspending, adressing needs without going for the Grand slam (unless it's Watson then it's a different story). I'm fine with not getting into a bidding war for Thuney as long as the situation is adressed and I'm sure it will (and let's not kid ourselves, where would you go if you were Thuney?). We have money and cap space because we suck at drafting and developping players and never have to re-sign homegrown guys. I'm hoping this is being turned around..... We're always hoping for an FA guy to come and hit the ground running and transform everything (Bell). Personally, coaching trumps free agency. Callahan transformed the Browns OL. None of those dudes you would have gone for in free agency. Crossing fingers we have the right guys in place to coach the fuck out of the guys we have.

No biggie. The Seahawks can just drop Adams in coverage.

No biggie. The Seahawks can just drop Adams in coverage. Would have been even better if he came to the Jets.

I want OL signed too, but how many OL have changed teams and signed so far (i.e. guys that werent tagged or reupped)? Two? Thuney got $80M to go to KC, a Super Bowl team. We'd have had to give him $100M probably to come here. And Linsley, who reports say the Jets weren't interested in, and he signed with the Chargers as had been rumored for weeks, for $62M. Plenty of OL still out there, including a few IOL.
