Zero winning culture O linemen signed. The type of guys you can count on both on and off the field. In my opinion, troubling. I would of went almost entirely O line in FA with a quality WR. Then used the draft the other needs on offense and defense. However, first things first in my opinion, get a solid O line. I want OL signed too, but how many OL have changed teams and signed so far (i.e. guys that werent tagged or reupped)? Two? Thuney got $80M to go to KC, a Super Bowl team. We'd have had to give him $100M probably to come here. And Linsley, who reports say the Jets weren't interested in, and he signed with the Chargers as had been rumored for weeks, for $62M. Plenty of OL still out there, including a few IOL. Three actually. I missed Matt Feiler, who signed with the Chargers as well.

No biggie. The Seahawks can just drop Adams in coverage. Seahawks are going to be a dumpster fire. That Seahawks pick we got for next year is going to be a good one

I’d love to have him but I can pretty much guarantee that he either goes to Green Bay or returns to Kansas City.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to overpay for anyone, and you can't blame Thuney for going to KC. However, Joe D has money to spend and proven guys were available. I would of been happy with either Linsley or Thuney but that's water under the bridge. How about putting in a call to David Andrews and Alejandro Villanueva?

I wouldn’t spend money on any of these dudes except Hudson. At this point they might as well continue strengthening WR, EDGE and CB and then draft two OL within the first 3 rounds. Alijah Vera-Tucker at #23 and Creed Humphrey at #34 would go a long way.

Gentlemen, it's getting Goddamn close to me packing it in. Douglas and these fucks have the 2021 season. It use to mean a lot, but the older I get, I can live without it. Meh, piss was filling me to the eyeballs earlier as well but I really like the Corey Davis signing. Dude is a former Top 5 pick who just fell 50 yards short of breaking 1,000 despite playing only 12 games in a “ground and pound” offense with a legit #1 like A.J. Brown on the other side. He’s basically what we hope Mims will turn into. Davis, Mims and Crowder isn’t bad at all. And I wouldn’t bet against the Jets taking another wideout like Toney, Marshall or Moore with #23 or #34 either. But they absolutely HAVE to take an OL in the Top 35 at this point.
Which means all signs are beginning to point at JD keeping the pick and drafting Sewell.

Highly doubt it If the Jets are keeping Darnold then I think they try their damndest to move down with a team like Carolina, pick up plenty of extra picks over the next two years and take a guy like Slater or Pitts at #8.

Well we'll just have to see.
Thus far, JD has not Wow'ed people but he's done an ADEQUATE job which is way better than any past GM we've had.
Nowhere to go but up, as they say.

The problems with taking Sewell at two overall are numerous. We already have our LT of the future, Sewell is not even ranked as the top OT by some prognosticators, he sat out all of last season, and has missed more games due to injury in two college seasons than Becton has as a college player and pro player combined. Either take a QB at 2 or move down for a haul of picks. Personally I'd go QB at 2 because you never know if we'll have a pick that high anytime in the future.
