Jax stole my pick! 😡 Never saw the Jets going WR @ 34. But Moore is a playmaker. Great route runner & he’s fast & can turn on a dime. Nice to have a GM that realizes that you need to draft offense too. We need playmakers. Haven’t had any in way too many years. This is a solid pick. Mel Kiper had Elijah Moore ranked 16 overall and many were surprised the Giants didn’t take him in the first instead of the WR from Florida so hopefully we got a steal. F it. The offense has been so fucking unbearable boring and just plain incompetent over the last several years that the games have been absolutely unwatchable. This kid brings excitement and hopefully the games can be fun again, even if they don’t win a ton. I also like his answer when he was asked where he ranks among all of the wideouts in this years draft: "Probably [ahead of] all of them," he said. Agree. We have been devoid of playmakers for far too long. I’m happy with the pick.

I'm so fired up over this kid and that's because I've loved and dreamed about Elijah Moore as a Jet for many of months before the draft ever happened.
This was a thread I created (on a different Jets site) on December, 4th, 2020....

Title = "Who are some of the best NCAA players (prospects) that as Jet fans we aren't talking about...?" "
Post = "I'll start it off with...
ELIJAH MOORE. WR (5'9/185 lbs). Ole Miss (same school as D.K Metcalf).
We've all been talking up the likes of WR's such as Chase (LSU), TE Pitts (Florida), Waddle (Alabama), Smith (Alabama), Marshall Jr. (LSU), Batemam (Minnesota), Moore (Purdue) and Wallace (Oklahoma State) etc, etc.
But it's really been Elijah Moore who's not only dominating the SEC but also leads the entire Country/Nation in both Receptions (86) and Receiving Yards (1,193) along with ranking top 10 in TD Receptions @ 9th overall (8); 0 Fumbles as well.
He's played 8 games this year with a mind boggling and eye opening 7 games being of at least 10+ receptions and every game except for two has been of at least 113+ receiving yards (three games of 225+ receiving yards?!?) and just look at what he's done against two top 5 teams in Alabama and Florida; it's absolutely nuts.
I keep heading into games as a Najee Harris/Devonta Smith and Kyle Pitts fan but yet keep walking away asking myself who is this guy and why aren't we as Jet fans absolutely raving about this kid when he's been (by far) the most dominating WR in the Country within an elite SEC Conference?!?

I'm not even seeing this kid mocked within the first two rounds? He's by far my #1 pick with the first pick of the 3rd round if he's still available (and that's even if we draft one of the bigger name WR's throughout the first two rounds)..."

And I still can't believe we stole this kid during the 2nd round. I was 100% sure that A.) Jacksonville would select him #1 overall of the 2nd round for Trevor Lawrence. B.) The Jets would pass on him and C.) Elijah Moore would've been drafted right after us. D.) Just like we passed on my dude from FSU Dalvin Cook for Marcus Maye and only to see my favorite RB and offensive playmaker go to Minnesota right after us.
Just the fact that he not only broke the All-Time Ole' Mississippi receiving record for single season receptions but also broke it during only 8 games? That's crazy.
