This guy was a mob bookie and says a Jets QB bet against the Jets and threw a game. Start it about 1:23:30.

It was Geno.
It was the perfect plan. He plays as good as he can & because he sucks so bad, they lose & nobody would ever think he was cheating.

This guy was a mob bookie and says a Jets QB bet against the Jets and threw a game. Start it about 1:23:30. Amazing. Alot of truths (and alot of self-serving bullsh*t) in that interview. These guys are degenerate iiars for the most part. I actually lived and worked where he operated for a few years in the early 90's. Responded to a mob hit in So. Ozone Park as a cop and the family of the victim were some of the most detestable savages I'd ever seen. Just trash. When I was a kid in Queens I saw a victim of a mob hit laying half out of his car next to the local deli. What I didnt know then was that it was a mob-owned deli and there was a social club above it. Didnt even realize until years later what I had witnessed because no one would talk about it. Cant figure out the Jet angle, but Crossfire's guess sounds good.

Given this guy's age (early - Mid 50s?) and provided he's not BS'ing it would be the Ken O'Brien/Pat Ryan era. Other QB's around that time include Browning Nagel, Boomer, Jack Trudeau, Bubby Brister, Neil O'Donnell, Glen Foley, Tony Eason and Kyle Mackey. Not casting dispersions on any of them just trying to zero in on who whould of been playing QB about that time.
