The Jets season opener in a nutshell.

Both of my boys won their first games of the season today. My 10 year old (center) allowed zero pressures and pulled left blocking for a TD (won 19-6). My 6 year old (DT) recorded his first career sack and made two TFL (won 19-18).
I'm a coach on the older guy's team and the team we beat knocked us out of the playoffs last year, so payback was nice. Their best player said "Fuck you and suck my dick" to my sopne during handshakes. His teammate behind him heard and said "19-6, no dick to suck" when it was his turn. Ten year old boys can be savage.

Not so good (ok, bad): Flacco may still have a strong arm, but even at his best he's a poor fit for the quick set and arm resets required of this offensive scheme. AVT still doesn't pass the eye test for me. Dude is just too inconsistent. The sooner Lamarcus Joyner finds the bench, the better. The TEs just disappeared. I was promised this problem was (finally) fixed. Fant has me a bit worried. Run game had early success but lacked consistent playcalling. Corey Davis continues to disappear for long stretches. Did I mention the lack of TE play? Not so bad: Garrett Wilson looks like a baller. So does Michael Carter. Breece Hall will get there. Kwon Alexander is a great addition. Lawson looks powerful. DJ Reed is a steal. Defense as a whole seems improved General observations: Michael Clemons is VERY raw. Michael Clemons on KO coverage is great! LaFleur adjusted well. Sauce needs to tuck in his undershirt. Wilson did not seem to be targeted enough. WTF is Corey Davis' problem?

defensive line was meh...OL sucked...as usual...we never get a consistent pass rush and our QB is always running for his life...

Biggest disappointment in the CS has to be Benton. Dude was supposed to be an OL guru.
I'd sell my mother to crackheads for Callahan to come back.

Attention KMart shoppers! We have Boner Pants in aisle #17! His body control and elusiveness is off the charts. It's early but he looks uncoverable at times with his change of direction.

G Wilson well deserving of the accolades.
Gonna tip my hat to RT Max Mitchell. As a rookie pressed into duty vs some elite pass rushers has held his own. Sure, a hiccup or 2 but the body of work so far is refreshing. Exceeding expectations.
He keeps progressing then he’ll make it hard to take him off the field.

Conklin: Another fumble and drop. Hope he gets his shit together fast Clemmons > Lawson. Yeah I said it Last throw by Flacco was a beauty, with anticipation.. OL held it's own down the stretch
