Did anyone else see the goal posts move ten yards to the left as Vinatieri tried that field goal attempt? Fucking cheating scumbags........ So you're saying it's ridiculous to even suggest Homeless Hoodie tried this? Pathetic attempt at distraction by a pathetic Pats***** troll fan Exactly. Their defense is to throw up their arms and seem outraged, "No one would ever try something like this! It's just so crazy!" "I'm sure Homeless Hoodie got on his headset and told them to deflate the footballs. Ha! Yeah right!" For just about every single other person in football it might be fair to say it seems outlandish. But remember, this is a team that videotaped its fucking opponents, was sanctioned A FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICK, was given the largest fine of a coach in the history of the NFL. This is a team that the week before tried to game the officials but performing last-second declarations of ineligibility for players lined up outside like WRs. Why on earth would you line someone up like a WR, have him stand completely still and not run a pattern and be ineligible if you absolutely knew that the last second nature of it all and hiding a true WR on the line of scrimmage would give you an unfair advantage. So yes, of course, absolutely, the Pats**** would never ever try to slightly deflate the football to help TB grip it.....that's just so outlandish!

if the allegations are true then the Pats**ies need to forfeit the game. case closed. there's playing close to the rules and there's playing over the rules. the bellichicken has been playing it close for quite some time. funny how all of the new qb protection rules came about to protect tommy boy. in yesterday's game i saw ninkovitch tackling luck from behind at least one step after he threw the ball. no call be cause luck's name isn't SparklePony. Of course they're not going to make them forfeit the game with how much money it brings in. But it'd be fun watching it with some low level coaching assistant acting as head coach because their whole senior coaching staff was suspended. Edit: Actually, the league probably won't implicate anyone from the def side, so they'd have half of their normal coaching staff.

Honestly even if their 'investigation' proves that the Pats did it, I have no doubt that Goodell will sweep this shit under the rug again. The last thing the NFL needs is two weeks of discussion on this issue leading up to the Super Bowl, and he'll do everything to protect their brand.

Honestly even if their 'investigation' proves that the Pats* did it, I have no doubt that Goodell will sweep this shit under the rug again. The last thing the NFL needs is two weeks of discussion on this issue leading up to the Super Bowl, and he'll do everything to protect their brand. Sadly, you're right. For anyone with a brain, if the league "clears" the Pats, that's an admission of cheating as much as if they admit that the Pats cheated and punish them.

you took a nasty swipe at his mom though. Shes probably a lovely woman who doesn't deserve that.
You are probably right. However, he decided to respond to my original post (where I did not personalize or insult any poster) by injecting a personal insult directed toward my wife. Therefore, I responded appropriately. I did not direct a personal insult at your wife. She's got enough problems on her hands, regardless of what synthetic co-polymer she's constructed of.

Which is precisely why Spygate was "handled" in the manner it was, fines and no commentary on the actual offense, just a bonfire for the evidence. Winning aside, how anyone can defend them as a "model franchise" is ludicrous. If not for Brady's career and the winning they've done, the Pats* would be a league-wide embarrassment. Pick a scandal, any scandal...

I haven't seen anyone mention yet that this cheating franchise not only needs to invent ways to bend the rules, but also employed a MASS MURDERER as a prominent member of their team and failed to acknowledge and intervene in his dangerous behavior because it would have hurt their chances of winning football games.
Funny how that story is completely forgotten now.

When asked if it was easier to grip and throw the ball because it was deflated on a radio show this morning TommyGirl just laughed. Guess the yearly accusations are just funny at this point, he's tired of denying

At what point will Pats fans chime in and tell us:
A. Everyone does it B. It's not an advantage. C. Bill is always looking for an advantage, it's why he's the bestest ever

The Pats just hope people will ignore this stuff and it will go away.
