Getting Kacy Rodgers and Pepper Johnson under Bowles is huge. Really happy about the way it's come together on defense... Heads will roll this fall! Whose? Haven't they all fallen already? QB heads, man! They're gonna be folding like lawnchairs out there

I really think this defense is going to be more aggressive than any other team we've seen under Rex. Bowles,Rodgers, and peppers are guys known for putting heat on the qb, bowles even blitzed more than Rex. I think this defense is going be better than ever tbh.
The best hire was Gailey a solid veteran coach who just puts out efficient offenses something we haven't seen in a long time.
This coaching staff is turning out very nice with all of them nicely being veteran coaches.

This little blurp probably says it better I could: I've feel like Rodgers was able to maximize the talent and, more importantly, utilize it effectively. He got production out of Wake and Odrick, and made average players suddenly worth mentioning in the film room. You couple that with success Pepper was having with his chess pieces in buffalo and put them both under Todd Bowles? ....gotta love that, baby.

It's no secret that I was a Rex Ryan fan and think he got a bit of a raw deal here being asked to make chicken salad out of the chicken shit of players that Idzik handed him, but I couldn't be much happier with how the coaching staff is shaping up. I see no reason we should expect to take a step back on defense. I see a big opportunity to improve Special Teams and I think Chan Gailey could be the right guy to handle an offense that likely will be hamstrung with Geno Smith again. We need to see who ends up as QB Coach and OLine Coach, but so far...so good. Once we fill in these last few blanks on the staff the focus turns to Maccagnan as he'll be on the clock (literally and figuratively) with FA and upcoming college Draft. He has several important decisions to make with our own FAs and must make a call on whether or not to retain Harvin. Let's see if Maccagnan can use our considerable salary cap space effectively and put it to good use.

Right on, so far I am really liking the staff he is bringing in...Rex taking his shitty staff with him is the icing on the cake. Glad to see Pepper Johnson getting a shot after Rex screwing him over.
