He has to have gotten word that he's not getting blamed. On the contrary. He just held an impromptu press conference with a BS excuse. It's BS b/c the Colts balls maintained pressure throughout the game. Also the other 12 balls that they prepare the same exact way for the game maintained pressure throughout the 2nd half. Wouldn't the same thing happen to them that happened to the first 12 balls? I think the team got wind of an upcoming suspension and fine and he's grasping at straws to get the media on his side so it doesn't look like he cheated....again.

It's common knowledge that the Fagtriots rub balls harder than any other team in the NFL.

What makes no sense to me is that the Flats* lit up the Colts in the second half like they were playing a Pop Warner team. The refs said the balls were properly inflated for the second half. Anybody else confused? What if Belicheat and Cindy really are innocent? That will be a disaster for all of us. The Colts were beaten down by the second half and had lost the will to live. What's kind of interesting is that SparklePony had significantly fewer attempts in the second half, with a corresponding increase in handoffs to Blount. Naturally it could be explained away as part of a strategy for how the game was going, but SparklePony went from throwing the ball all over the place (11x) on the drive to end the half at 17-7 to handing off the ball to Blount/Vereen (6x) and only throwing 3x to open the second half. Seems odd. www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201501180nwe.htm

The second half performance could just be anomaly considering the years they have been deflating balls and getting great performances.
Besides this is more about them being chronic cheaters than it is about the effectiveness of their techniques. I believe Belidick would cheat even if it only meant him getting an extra yard or second on the clock.

Do I understand correctly that he is saying the pats take the balls before they go to be tested and manipulate them by rubbing them, for no apparent reason, so the balls just happen to be underinflated after they are tested?
So if the reason for giving twelve balls a rubdown before testing isn't to intentionally manipulate the refs' test then why is it happening?
Also, if the balls were warmed up by all this brushing right before they were tested then that means they were underinflated in the first place.
I don't see how this is an explanation that the underinflated balls were an accident.

But this is the NFL that the Fagtriots and their stupid moronic asshole fanbase have created. This is beyond stupid. The asshole motherfuckers broke the rules. Who gives a fuck if they meant to. They did.

I don't understand why BB was saying that they are furiously rubbing balls just before they give them to the Refs. They get the balls days before the game. Wouldn't they be broken in already? There wouldn't be a need to urgently "work" the balls just before giving them to the refs.... Unless it was being done with knowledge that it would artificially raise the psi. If so, Mona Lisa Vito's got nothing on BB.

If so, Mona Lisa Vito's got nothing on BB. Exactly. It's to pump up the balls to reach proper PSI. And that's intentional. They know they're under-inflated and PURPOSELY rub the balls RIGHT BEFORE given them to the refs for inspection FULLY KNOWING the ball's PSI will drop under the acceptable levels before the actual game starts. The way I see it is the dumbass genius just sunk his entire defense for not knowing.

You can't rub a football and heat it up enough to raise it's PSI.
It's impossible.
If it is...maybe the Patriots should hold a press conference showing that actually happening instead of asshole mumbling words.
Do it you fucking pussies. Got nothing to hide, right?

Live on ESPN right now. What a fucking joke this league is becoming. We all say the league's popularity is indestructable but I don't know anymore. They sure try very hard to ruin this game every way they can. This asshole is up there saying they did their own investigation and they did nothing wrong. What the fuck does Belidick having an impromptu presser have to do with the league and threatens its popularity? How does it make the league a joke?

The process of treating the ball raises the PSI so then after the treated ball sits the PSI naturally drops. I think that is what he is saying. Yeah that and every PSI gauge is different. The only problem is 11 of 12. And the Colts balls were fine. No the real problem he needs to explain is why 11 of their 12 games balls were wrong. Why were their 12 backups unaffected and why were the Colts 12 unaffected.

If they use the same prep process for every football, this makes absolutely no sense except for the obvious answer... tampering/purposeful under-inflating.

Doesn't matter. They aren't innocent. Perhaps they didn't do it intentionally (lmao...yeah. right)...But the god damn fucking rule said the balls need to be at a set pressure. They weren't. End of story That line of reasoning would be like saying it's ok the receiver stepped out of bounds before getting in the end zone...He didn't mean to, so the touchdown stands. The day this happened they should have been IMMEDIATELY fined. THEN they could "investigate" to see if someone did it intentionally. That's a great slant on it that hasn't really been stated before. There's no question that the balls were underinflated. You don't get to get away with it because you "didn't mean to". They should be held responsible for producing non-regulation footballs for the game. Exactly, Hoodlie is responsible no matter what!
