Jason Babin and Dawan Landry are both above average players? Same category as Mo?

If this list is accurate, it really demonstrates the importance of the QB.
The Colts and Cardinals were one more player away from the Super Bowl than the Jets, but they were in the playoffs.

jags ... 30th place. With all those high draft picks. That's like a Royal Flush of failure.

That doesn't seem very close. In 14th place, and if you look at it this way, 4 players on defense and and 4 on offense, 4/11 or 36% of the team?

What, like no white players could have helped? First the Oscars and now this.

Landry and Babin ahead of Decker? Please.
Lots of other issues with that list, but Deckers production with a little missed time and our QB situation was nothing short of impressive.

Maybe we looked worse than we really are b.c we were awful at two very visible positions, QB and CB.

What that really amounts to is that we were short eight starters or other players who saw meaningful playtime. Having eight better players on the bottom of the roster would have little to no impact on the season. I'm not sure 36% would be accurate because the team rotates players through the game in several positions but even if the right number was 20% that is still a stupidly large share of roster spots where we failed to field quality players.

Interesting article, and it aligns with what I thought all along in that the team as a whole isn't that bad. If you look at point differential, the jets played like a 6-8 win team, but lost a few close ones due to terrible in-game coaching and turnovers. The Jets happen to be unusually terrible at two areas, which bring down an otherwise decent team. Aside from QB and CB, the Jets are at least league-average on RB, WR, both lines and LB.
