Woody should come out and demand an apology for being accused of tampering by the Flats*. I wonder when Woody is going to receive his apology from Kraft for tampering with Woody's HC right after Woody took ownership of the Jets?

The NFL leaks/media reports have unfortunately made no distinction between "compliant", "non-compliant", "lost pressure but still compliant" and "lost pressure and non-compliant". This allows speculation (and pro or anti Deflatriots bias, as the case may be) to run rampant. It would be helpful if someone would leak the actual psi numbers of the various balls at the various points in time -- I won't hold my breath though. I gather from Kraft's statement that he wanted either a $25K fine last Monday or a leak-free investigation that would lead wherever it may lead. He wants the apology for the league-abetted dog and pony show that put Homeless Hoodie and SparklePony in the spotlight this past week (if, in fact, those two are cleared of wrongdoing). Those reports have been made, and the compliance has been reported. 11 or 12 footballs reporting at up to 2 lbs of pressure under the regulated amount of 12.5 which means they tested around 10.5 PSI. The only speculation that has occurred is who did it and under who's direction. Not whether they aren't guilty of wrong doing. They can sit there and point the finger at the low level guy who went rogue in the bathroom setting the air out of ONLY the Deflatriots balls. But do they expect we're all dumb enough to believe it? The QB likes his footballs at a 12.5 PSI in which he called "PERFECT". Yet he can't tell the difference in a +- of 2 lbs of PSI? He sure knew the .5 so well as to go out and state it. Not I like it around 12 pounds, he said he likes it exactly at 12 POINT 5. Meaning he knows even up to a tenth of a pound difference. He tried to feign ignorance like he's never even seen a football before let alone knew there was air inside it that could even be escaped from it which could even call into question whether or not the rules were violated. Sorry, I'd say that as dumb as people are... we're not that dumb. The ball boy was told to do what he did by the QB. You're an idiot or so blinded by your denial to force yourself to believe that this atmospheric wonderment (which isn't even scientifically possible) only affected the P@triots footballs and not the Colts. You'd also be dumb to believe that all the sudden that theory gets thrown out the window in the 2nd half when the balls were properly inflated in the exact same environment as initially tested and then sent out in HARSHER atmospheric conditions yet this time it didn't do anything to those same balls. What Kraft wants is for people to stop calling them cheaters unless they can show him video evidence of Tom and Bill giggling as the let the air out of their footballs. The NFL doesn't need to do that anyway. The NFL already proved they cheated by testing their footballs and those tests showed that the footballs in the first half of the game were altered by 2 lbs of pressure somewhere between the sign off and the start of the game... and they conveniently have video of the guy taking a "bathroom break" where there are no cameras... WITH the footballs. Who does that? Who believes that? I don't pretend to understand the supposed science (or lack thereof) of pressure loss in footballs, other than the fact that there are a lot of people who have no idea what they're talking about on both sides of the issue. That's why it would be nice to know exactly what the footballs tested at and when. "Up to" 2 lbs of pressure and "around" 10.5 psi raises more questions for me than it answers. And nowhere have I heard anyone conclusively say that the Colts balls did not lose pressure themselves -- just that they were always compliant at the various times that they were tested.

Nah, I wouldn't want that cheating scumbag destroying the legacy of the Jets. That is a permanent stain on NE. Never to be washed away.

I keep reading Pats fans writing this off like they are victims here. That they were brought to tears with pride at the way BB handled the media this weekend. For christs sake, when Bill Nye the Science Guy, Neil Degrasse Tyson and even freaking Sesame Street (yes, Sesame Street ran a segment about inflating balls in response!) are trolling you...
Kraft should be embarrassed by the circus, yes, circus his people are making of the biggest event in their sport. The facts are in - they cheated and played with under inflated balls - how it happened, who let the air out, who told them to - are irrelevant. Brady is one of the greatest of all time, someone in Boston actually believes he couldnt tell what he was throwing, but a Colts secondary player does instantly? BB claims to know nothing about ball inflation and then puts on a spectacle explaining pseudo science that gets ridiculed by Elmo. C'mon man.

All you have to do is look at the way the pats conduct themselves on the field to understand the bolded statement. The pats and their fans believe they are entitled to play under a set of special rules in which they do no wrong and anything that doesn't go their way is because somebody else did something wrong.

Lets use the PED/Steroids argument that people love to throw around. If we let the pros cheat then the kids will start to cheat!!!!
